(Sorry. I thought I replied, and work as been, well, blech) Amara gave a small nod, mostly to herself. *I might need to make notes of what's down here, and what they can do. That and what to do to not upset them* she thought to herself. The female looked forward, though it was easy to see she was getting lost in thought as she walked. "I will definately need to write this stuff down" she mumbled allowed, not realizing she did speak out loud.

"That would be a good way to keep track of everything down here. Orion has resorted to using paper to remember things as well, so there shouldn't be shame in that method." Sokoya said, continuing to slither towards the lizardmen's land, and soon enough they were there. Without a word she found her teacher Isekara and she prepared for the lesson, leaving Sokoya to stand by for Amara to begin her lesson. Meanwhile Orion was at the entrance of the dungeon, and when he saw the slime monster he couldn't help but sigh in disappointment. The slime monster wasn't completely blocking the entrance, and furthermore it was barely hostile, merely bouncing around without a real direction. His eyes lied on the goblins freaking out about the slime monster before turning to the monster itself and went to work.

Amara looked at Sokoya. "If it's possible, can I get some paper and ink after my lesson" she asked before she looked towards Isekara. Amara seemed a little nervous before she calmed herself with a deep breath. She walked over before she spoke. "Isekara? I am ready to begin my lessons" she said as she watched, waiting for a reply.

"Very well. Sokoya? Let Orion know that Amara made her way to my lessons safely." She said with a slight hint of jokiness in her voice. Sokoya merely nodded her head and slithered away, leaving Amara alone with Isekara. "Today we will begin lessons on how to fight with traditional weapons. Swords, bows, clubs and the like. But first, we need to figure out what you are most comfortable with before we begin in earnest." She walked over to a few weapons that were hooked against a wall. "Take your pick and we'll see how you work with it."

Amara gave a nod to Isekara before she looked at the weapons. She took what felt like forever before she was drawn to the bow, unsure as to why. She tilted her head slightly as she held it in her hands, running her fingers over it carefully, taking in each and every bend before a small smile landed on her face. Without an arrow in hand she prentended to aim one at a target, leaning into it like she had seen Zane's pets do before she looked back at Isekara. "I like the feel of the bow. May I use this one" she asked.

"The bow? Very well. I'll set up a few targets for you to try to knock down with some blunt tips at the end so that if you miss, you don't hurt anyone." Isekara walked a bit away and set up a few different targets, all wooden and ready to be knocked down. She also grabbed a quiver of the arrows she was just talking about and handed it to her. "Do you know how to wear and pull arrows from a quiver? It's something that you are going to have to become familiar with if you want to use a bow for combat."

Amara gave a small smile, appreciating that Isekara was certainly more welcoming that what seemed to be everyone else, well, except Orion who let her live, but was he really welcoming? Amara glanced to Isekara. "I dont know how to do that" she admitted as she looked at the quiver. Something within her grew excited as she held it before she put it on. "I assume shooting arrows isnt as easy as others make it seem" she somewhat asked, having a smile on her face, keeping the bow close. "Um, would it be possible if after training I can keep the bow" she asked.

"It's not very hard to pull arrows from the quiver to the bow, but it's muscle memory that you need to get used to as you wield the bow. Now..." She walked over to Amara and stood close to observe her movements. Isekara quickly pulled out an arrow out from the quiver and put it in her hands. "There is a little notch on the end of the arrow to slot to the string of the bow. I want you to notch the arrow and lift it towards one of the targets. Don't shoot it just yet; I just want you to get used to notching and raising the bow."

Amara took careful note of the arrow, the notch in the end. When she was told to pull, but not shoot, she nodded. She slowly tried to pull back the arrow, but it slipped from her hand and fell to the ground at first. She felt a little embaressed before she grabbed it. As Amara placed the arrow back on the bow, she held it slightly different this time, keeping a better hold on it before she pulled back the arrow, the string tight, causing a slight ache as she held it, but she wasnt ready to let it go until she was instructed to.

Isekara watched Amara go through the motions and pull back the bow, holding onto it, ready to fire. "Very good Amara. Now, I want you to try to aim at one of the targets down there and fire the arrow." She said, standing behind her so that there wasn't any chance of Amara hitting her by accident. In the back of her mind she wondered why Orion kept this human alive, but it must have been for good reason; she did have powers that could be trained and made more powerful, but in saying that they were incredibly raw, so it would take time to refine said skills.
