Anya Anya gave a slight smile, pleased he hadn't tried to tease her about her little fear of, well, everything. The dark, wild animals, and if she was being honest she was a tiny bit fearful of Frigus, too. Not that she thought he'd do anything, but because she knew he could cause some serious damage if he tried. But now, looking at him as the light of the moon bounced off his soft hair, along with the vibrancy of his bright blue eyes, he almost looked... godly. Like he didn't quite belong there, like he was, well, perfect. It didn't seem like he'd hurt a soul, especially not while he was trying to tuck her in. "come on, settle in." Anya couldn't help her smile as he did so but appreciated it all the same. "I'm not a child," she hummed gently, a slight hint of amusement in her voice. Though she was warm and safe, and she had Frigus right by her side... which she found was more than perfect. She got comfy once he had her all tucked in, rolling onto her side as she gave him a small smile. "Thank you," she whispered gently, resting her head on the makeshift pillow. "For everything, for looking after me while I go through all... this." She was thankful. If she wasn't thankful for him, then she'd be angry about the whole thing, and she didn't want to feel like that towards him... not when she had just gotten him back. She gazed at him for a short while before offering a slightly larger smile and settling down a little. He was gorgeous if she was being totally honest with herself. Those eyes... she could get lost in them so easily. Like the very sky above them, so damn blue. She let out a soft groan before sighing and closing her eyes, attempting to get herself to sleep while he was still about.

Frigus The man smiled gantly as the moonlight spilled over his white cloud like hair, his gaze glowing in the night as he smiled softly while she settled in, "I'm not a child," her small retort causing him to let out a faint chuckle as he sat beside her, back leaning against the wall, "oh i know, little Anya is far from helpless. I sure do know that" he stated in a teasing way as he smirked with a side eye. . For a moment he took the calming sound of the nightly crickets in while the cool breeze trickled across his skin, "Thank you," her voice called to his attention as his fiery blue gaze softly flickered towards her, "For everything, for looking after me while I go through all... this." He let a gentle smile fade onto his face as he brushed a strand of hair back from her face, letting his hand linger a moment as he brushed his fingers softly through her hair, "You have no need to thank me..." he said as his smile slowly faded from his face in a side thought, "Its my job to do this now. you are my priority now, after everything thats happened." his jaw lightly clenched as he looked out through the trees and took his hand back to his side, holding his words in as to not go on another pity rant and have her say it was all ok. he didnt want that. he knew he had wrecklessly changed her life forever. and he knew she knew it too. Anya The girl gave a soft smile when she felt his hand brush against her cheek, kind of leaning into it for a moment as she kept her eyes closed, enjoying the warmth his hand radiated. Admittedly, her cheeks flushed up a light shade of pink, and even know she couldn't exactly see his expressions, she knew it was visible... mainly because it was so cold, and she was normally pretty pale. "No," she sighed quietly, her voice thick with incoming sleep. "You could have run off and never looked back," she hummed gently, trailing off and assuming he would have known where she was going with that. She was hinting toward the fact that he didn't need to turn back, but he did... he had turned back for her, and now he was doing more than he ever had to. She kind of let out a groan of complaint when he took his hand away, but settled down into the makeshift pillow, trying to get herself to sleep... the sooner she did that, the sooner Frigus would be gone, and the sooner he'd be back. She knew well enough he felt awful for what'd happened in that alleyway, and while she could be angry about the whole thing, and hate him for it, she simply couldn't bring herself to that point. She needed him, and as much as she hated to admit that, there was nothing either of them could do about it. "Don't think of this as your job, like something you're obliged to do... try to think of it more like hanging you with your childhood best friend for the first time in years," she kind of joked, her words a tiny bit slurred as she felt herself fading off into sleep. Frigus "No," his gaze flickered to the ground a moment as he thought and listened, "You could have run off and never looked back," He supposed she was right. anyone could have done that. But him? no. He couldnt have. it was something he could have fathomed doing. what if he had done that? even if he had the ability to allow himself to run off, it would follow him for sure. that mistake would have been his demise. His gaze flickered back towards her as he thought to himself, If i had left i would lose a lot more than my life later on, but i would have lost my best friend. and she would have had to go through so much pain alone and die hating me. the thought pained him so he shook it out of his head, resting his head against the back of the wall, looking up at the stars ahead. . "Don't think of this as your job, like something you have to do... try to think of it more like hanging you with your childhood best friend for the first time in years," her words brought his mind back to the present as he smiled softly at these words, it was a lot lighter of a thought than what was going through his mind, "I didnt say i didnt like my job" he said with an awkward grin and shrug.

Anya The girl nodded gently her breathing slowing down as she slowly slipped away into a night of sleep. It was peaceful, mainly because she knew Frigus was there, and he'd watch over her for a little while. If anything showed up that'd possibly hurt her, she didn't want to be awake... mainly because she'd just panic, and it'd probably be nothing. She heard him say something, very barely, and all she could do was hum a response. She found his voice a comfort. That it was reassurance he was still there, and even though she was asleep. Something in her didn't quite trust that he'd come back from his little trip to the markets... but she couldn't let herself belive that. He had been so adimant to look after her, to make sure she was comfortable and that she was at the top of his priorities, that she didn't think he'd just up and leave, especially while she was asleep. . In the time it had taken for her to nod off, the girl had managed to grab a soft hold of his hand. Well, more like two or three of his fingers, but his hand all the same. Mainly because he was warm, and while it was moderate all tucked up in the skins, he definitely held a lot more heat... he'd explained it was a part of that whole wolf thing not long ago. But the soft touch eventually helped her sink into a deeper sleep, one which she wasn't likely to wake up from for another few hours.

Frigus The night seemed still other than the steady rythm of the crickets song, the pale moonlight bathing the night in a sea of dull illumination. The tall mans gaze flickered to the woman as he smiled down at her, fast asleep, her hand holding just a few of his fingers, a sense of deep fondness and the will to protect washing over him as he watched her small body's movements as her chest rose and fell with her small breaths, like a mouse all tucked away in its burrow, cozy and small, so innocent, simply making everything that looked upon it adore every tiny feature. . Eventually he had to move from his adoration of the small woman, his dearest friend, and slowly slip his fingers out of her hand, careful not to wake her, before turning to his more beastly self, his white fur gleaming in the moonlight as he silently padded over towards the spears, selecting a good one and placing it within arms reach of her, just for safety precautions before he padded off into the night. . As he reached the city he shifted back to his human form as to blend in better, to the people around that may see him. for if anyone caught sight of a werewolf, the search would begin. He silently crept through the dark alley ways, avoiding the buisy parts of town until he came across a nifty womens shop, quietly entering after checking his surroundings for followers. this place had all he needed for her, collecting a commeners dress, a wooden brush, some trousers and a shirt, and yet another shirt for himself. although he felt he was forgetting something, he couldnt get himself to remember, too worried of whether or not he would be gone for too long. but for a moment he froze as he saw on the small wooden table, there was a beautiful silver necklace with a small crescent moon as its charm. silently he took it and headed out of the store. Making his was as quietly as possible to the forest.

Anya The young woman slept silently for a long while; maybe a little longer than she had expected to. So maybe all her teasing about her getting bored was all for not. She had a few flashes of dream pass through her mind as she slumbered... some of what she imagined the wolves empire to be like, just from that Frigus had told her. She knew he'd never take her out there unless she got on her hands and knees and begged, though, but they both knew well enough that would never happen. Her other dreams were mainly about her family... about what they'd say or do if they ever found out about this whole thing... they'd kill her, they really would. They'd be so disappointed that she'd snuck out at all, lecture her and then have her killed as an example to all the werewolves in the kingdom. To show that they had no remorse, that thay'd even kill their only daughter if that's what it took. She had to admit, that little fact, that she would never get to see her family again unless she was on a stake... that made her resent Frigus a little. She'd said she'd forgiven him, but could she ever truly fo that? Well, the simple answer was that she didn't think so. After a little while, Anya managed to wake herself up. She could feel dried up tears down her cheeks, most likely from the dreams she had been having. Slowly, the girl sat up, her chest rising and falling a little quicker. God, had her dreams really been that bad? She didn't think so, surely not. She looked around, remembering she'd told Frigus that she'd be able to tidy up a little, to make the place a little more homely. It was a bit too dark for her to see though... and she'd promised Frigus she wouldn't hurt herself. So she kind of just sat there, leaning back against the wall, assuming the man would be back soonish, just as he's promised.

Frigus The man had everything wadded up in the dress so nothing could fall out. He felt bad about not being able to pay and pretty much stealing. well, there was no pretty much about it. he had stolen quite plainly. The streets were rather silent and empty but the scent of a guard lingered in the breeze. It was close. although he couldnt pinpoint where. He had to be extra alert as to not have his face seen and to not get caught or cause commotion. Slowly he creeped through the alleys and between houses, checking and waiting, listening in a still frozen stance before moving through until he finally made it to the forests. but he had to remind himself to be silent there as well. He let himself take slow quiet steps on his way there, but more comfortable that he was now in the forest, within scent range of Anya so incase of anything hed be able to catch the scent of any threats. . Finally, his tall figure appeared through the trees as thhe moon illuminated his figure and his eyes glowed like blue fireflies in the night, his gaze locking to anya as he noticed she was awake. he made his way over carefully as he sat next to her, light concern in his eyes, "couldnt sleep?" he asked as he searched her gaze for hints of emotion.

Anya The girl flinched a little when she saw his figure in the tree line. She was a little concerned for a while before she saw his fluffy hair reflect the moonlight. She tried a gentle smile, bur tiredness was still washing over her. Her eyes followed him before giving a slight nod at his questions. "Something like that... you could say that the dreams got the better of me." She whispered softly, leaning her head slightly on his shoulder, letting herself take his warmth back in. It easn't exactly cold, but she was used to a nice warm bed, with a fire and a thick duvet, so the outside chill was just a little much for her. She glanced up at the man, trying another smile. "Did you get through the village alright? No one saw you?" She quizzed him lightly, though there was a hint of concern in her voice as her gaze flickered over him. She then looked around again. "I'm sorry, I know I said I'd make this whole place more homely, but I can't really see too much." She hummed quietly, biting her lip slightly. She did wonder if she'd start being able to see in the dark... if that's come with the whole wolf thing or not.

Frigus "Something like that... you could say that the dreams got the better of me." He could see the exhaustion written all over his face as he seemed a bit concerned. what had she been dreaming about? what was so bad that it kept her awake? he offered a gentle half smile as she leaned her head on his shoulder, instinctively wrapping his arm around her, hardly realizing he had done it, as if it was a protection thing, or a comfort thing in that instance. he spoke gently to her as he looked off into the trees, "y'know you can talk to me about it right? whatever your thinking. Im here to listen." . Her attempts at smiling seemed empty to him, like they werent backed by emotion, they were just kind of half there, he could tell they were forced, probably because she may have lacked the energy to make then authentic. "Did you get through the village alright? No one saw you?" The man shook his head, "no, no one saw. were safe." "I'm sorry, I know I said I'd make this whole place more homely, but I can't really see too much." At her next statement he was a little taken aback, his gaze littered with confusion for a moment as he looked at her, "hey, no its ok." he gave a light chuckle although he still looked utterly confused and surprised, "you dont have to do that. and i certainly didnt expect you to. especially not now. I just wanted you to be safe."
