Gelidus the young man could see the fright on the childrens faces, so he crouched down low and offered a gentle smile, "hey, hey, don't be scared... l-look, i got you food..." he held the piece of bread out and a small young boy of the group, looking to be about 6 years old stared warily while a brown headed 8 year old sister held the smaller four year old brother in her arms, holding her 6 year old brother by the shoulder with a whisper, "stranger..." te brother turned his head, his dark brown eyes pleading and he shook his head as he looked back at the man, reaching out cautiously, gelidus's gaze soft upon them as the little boy took it, "share it now..." he said as he smiled at the little group, a twinge of sadness wrenching at him as he saw the poor dirty faces and scraggly hair. but then his attention was drawn to a young woman, judging by the sound of her voice, who spoke towards him, his blue eyes wide in surprise, "i-i... thank you..." he stared up in shock, his bright blue eyes glowing an icy blue as his pupils flashed a metallic silver, "you... don't have to do that you know... its not your fault." he stared unblinkingly in curiosity as he stood up slowly, "i-its very kind of you..." he seemed to be at a loss of words, he didn't know what to say to such kindness.

Thalia . She watched as he got up and went into the house. She wondered what had happened to him to make him so sad. Maybe after a few drinks when people's gard went down she would ask. Once more she turned the meet it was almost ready. He came back and poured her a drink and dipped his head. Odd. "Ehh no problem, better to drink with guests then alone." She didn't sip on it she gulped it, knowing she had no issues holding it. "Don't stress about what happened earlier. Guilt and stress never did anyone any good." She took a piece of meet off and made a deep cut, checking if it was still raw. It wasn't so she handed it to him.

Caligo as she took the drink and seemed to just gulp it down he found it odd, the typical lady would sip it, but he had to remind himself that this was no typical lady. Although he didn't show the oddness that he found it to be, only glanced with little thought before sipping it and holding it in his hand as he watched the fire, "true." he stated at her statement on drinking alone. but then added to it, "well, depending on the company." as she spoke about not stressing about what had happened he shook his head and stared at the fire, taking a moment to take another sip of the drink, "it still wasn't right." he spoke simply. his moonlit gaze never leaving the flames as the colors and light danced across his gray skin that seemed marked in dark shaded swirls and points, "you offer me dinner, now a drink, take me for a ride on your horse, and trust me to go into your house and yet... i hold a knife to your throat in repayment..." he said with a dark tone, deeply threaded in regret and disgust in himself. as she handed a piece to him he offered a dip of his head in thanks, "thank you." he stated, taking it in his hands but not taking a bite yet. deciding to take a drink before taking a bite to clear his throat a little.

Adonis . He was on top of the carriage that was taking him to town, crap. O well. Then he saw Ammenadile fly over him back to the woods. Crap again. He peered over the edge and realized it was to late. He was going to have to get into town before he could leave. The sun was in eyes and getting annoying. Then it hit him. If he got into town he could, just maybe, see era once more. That would make any punishment for being caught worth it. As the carriage stopped to be checked he waited with baited breath hoping he wouldn't be spotted. Then on of the men riding to the side said it was empty and they started moving again. He lifted his head and peered over the front and put the hood attached to his tunic over his head. Once they stopped in a crowded area and he knew he wouldn't be seen he slid off the back and hurried off into the sea of people, trying look inconspicuous.

Thalia . She refilled her glass and took another swig after nodding her head in agreement to his statement on depending about the company. She looked at the fire and exhaled. It wasn't even noon yet and she was already drinking. She looked him in the eyes like he hadn't seen a ghost, but that he was the ghost. She wondered what type of tactical advantage it gave him as he was rambling on about being sorry. "Look Caligo, sleep is torture for some and what they do when they are waken up is fight or flight. Your fine. If I was worried about you, you wouldn't be here, and you are clearly over apoligetic. So please relaxe." She giggled as she grabbed the bottle and topped his glass. The amber liquid swirling with tiny bubbles. "You clearly need this more then me." She took a piece of meet off for herself and grabbed a clean knife out of her satchel and cut it into smaller pieces, using the knife as a fork as well.

Dahlia . He seemed shocked at kindness. She hadn't the faintest clue as to why but she didn't like it. "O please, I insist. Menike him are borish creatures incapable of feelings remorse and you do deserve an apology. You clearly are a good man, offering what little you have to innocent children." She bent down and offered them the other loan, leaving only a half loaf for herself. She stood up and walked back over to the tall man. Herself being rather short looked up to him. "Kindness is a virtue that should be extended to others." She pulled the hood down. Revealing her olive skin and dark red lips. "I'm Dahlia, whats you name?" She looked at him with curiosity.

Era The young elven nymphs golden sunlit gaze flickered to the bread man as she dipped her head, offering a kind smile, "Hello good sir, such a lovely day isn't it?" the older man at the bread stand smiled with a piggish look in his eyes, "oh, yes very lovely indeed. what brings you here today, young lady?" Era's blonde hair was swaying beautifully with the breeze, an innocently kind smile across her face, "why, just looking to by some bread, sir. would you mind telling me, how much does a loaf cost?" The man grinned with his rottenly crooked smile, "oh, just a single coin for a beauty as yourself, my lovely. such a beautiful young lady like you doesn't belong in the streets... you belong safe within the walls of a house owned by your wealthy gentlemen." Era was a bit taken back by the statement, slight confusion on her face, "whatever do you mean? im perfectly fine out here on my own, i don't need a gentleman to keep me 'safe' as you say. i can be free however i like, sir." The man's grin only grew wider, "oh, independent young lady are you? all alone... unguarded..." Era shook her head and with a wary look gave him three coins for three loafs of bread, taking three loafs and dipping her head with a slightly frightened expression, "good day sir." before walking back to the old poor ladies with three loafs of bread in her arms. She sat next to the old ladies who seemed rather surprised that she had come back, but the plumper, softer personality looking lady seemed to notice the off expression Era had as she handed out a loaf to each woman.

Caligo The dark elves gaze flickered to her at her expression as he took another sip and then staked his piece of meat on his knife to take bites off the edges between sips. He looked at her slightly confused, his dull moon gaze shifting to a slight wonder as he stared at her crimson gaze, listening to her words, "Look Caligo, sleep is torture for some and what they do when they are waken up is fight or flight. Your fine. If I was worried about you, you wouldn't be here, and you are clearly over apologetic. So please relax." He huffed and gave a nod as he processed the words, his gaze returning to the fire, she was right, sleep was torture for him and it was needed. but he didn't agree with her statement about being over apologetic. he truly was sorry and felt rather guilty about it. what if his blade had slipped? yet another, gone. but at her giggle, this time it eased him off and he chuckled as she poured him some more, giving a laugh, "well, you are right, i do need some of that." he laughed and shook his head, "its been a while." he took a couple gulps before looking back to the fire for a silent moment before glancing back at her, "thank you though, i mean it."

Gelidus The young nymphs silvery blue gaze flickered towards the woman with a look of surprise, taking in her words, "O please, I insist. Menike him are borish creatures incapable of feelings remorse and you do deserve an apology. You clearly are a good man, offering what little you have to innocent children." he nodded with a sigh, "unfortunately, that is most people these days... but a good man? i don't know..." he glanced down slightly ashamed but didn't say much after. He watched as she had walked over towards the children and offered them her other loaf, giving a slight frown as he noticed she only had half a loaf left. she was going to be hungry for sure. but as she came back to him he realized how short she seemed compared to him, of which he didn't mind. he guessed if she wanted to she could surely beat his ass. but she seemed kind, too kind to do so. his thoughts were taken back by words that seemed to ring through his head a couple times, seeming rather... wise, "Kindness is a virtue that should be extended to others." he thought on that a moment, it was a virtue that needed to be extended to other but yet again, it should be extended back through those who have received kindness, not from an innocent young lady th- his thoughts automatically dropped from his mind as she pulled the hood of her cloak down. he hadn't ever seen a woman so beautiful and kind at the same time. his icy blue gaze flickering over her facial features in awe but he tried his best to cover it, his small flaked on freckles showing upon his pale rosy face and his frost colored curls sparkling in the sunlight, "i-i uh-" he cleared his throat looking away just for a moment to gather his thoughts, "i-its nice to meet you, Dahlia, im Gelidus, meaning frosty."

Adonis . He was wondering aimlessly in town. Not knowing where he was going. He had his hood over his head but small amounts of blond hair poked threw. He figured the best way to get started on a way out was to whistle for Ammenadile. He had given up on the idea of messing with the people. He gave a slight whistle and heard a caw, he looked up and Ammenadile had already found him. You clever bird. He followed him from the ground threw crowd of people. He passed a bread guy who looked super creepy. And he hoped Era didn't get close to him. Who knows what that dirty man would do. Then he looked to his right after going threw a few allies and saw her talking to some older ladies. Okay, she should be fine. He kept moving, not wanting to draw suspicious. The someone tapped on his shoulder. "I thought you looked familiar." His hood was removed and he turned around. Taking a gulp as he knew he couldn't bolt. "How can I help you captain." He said as he looked at the budget he wore. The gard whistled over to others. "Your under arrest for assaulting the clergymans gards." He looked at Ammenadile who was bolting down. His eyes filled with horror. "Ammenadile! No, go home!" The bird let put a loud screech as he made a sharp turn and flew out of town. "I never touched any of you!" But it was to late, he was already being taken to the cart he had gotten here on top of.
