Ekon stayed on brand with a white tunic and brown trousers. He didn't think he'd really need armor considering the fact that no one would be able to get close to him. The knock on his door made him jump up and soon he was following Anasuri. Not in he creepy way or anything, it was his job after all.

Once they reached the stable, a young groom, obviously new, hurried over. He kept his eyes down, and stumbled over his words, "Prin.. Princess Anasuri! Yo-Your horse is ready, along with the knights!" Like most of the servants and workers at the palace, the groom was a common elf, with pale skin, "Thank you...?" "Dsa," he supplied, "My lady." "Well, thank you Dsa. We should be back mid-noon." He nodded and stepped aside, letting her walk on. The horses were being held by the riding master, who smiled at the two, "Hello, Anasuri, Sir," He directed most of his attention to Anasuri, "Good luck, 'Suri. You'll do great."
Anasuri went to her horse, who lowered his proud head to rub against her hands, "Hello, Melion..." After giving the horse a proper greeting, the riding master boosted her up onto her giant horse - a dapple gray shire, standing at 20 hands (6'10").

Ekon observed the new groom with soft eyes. He knew how that felt, as he'd done the same job for many, many years. With a flash his eyes turned gold and closed off again, he would not go walking down his son story today. Although Ekon seemed rough most of the time, around Zaine, his beautiful, tall fresian, he was kind, gentle even. He gave his horse a smile and soft pat before mounting up. The stallion was good at understanding what they would be doing for the day. As Ekon was not dressed for any battle the horse knew it should be a bit calmer today. Though the stallion still wanted to get going nonetheless.

Anasuri waved goodbye to Dsa and the riding master, then urged her horse into a trot. She wanted to get out of the palaces sight, and warm up the horses, before doing any more. Melion was swift and smooth, and although he is large and hefty, was nimble as well. He was trained like a war horse, which, when brought up by the palace, are keen and well mannered, along with loyal. They two had been together for a few years, the steed being Anasuri's true form of release and enjoyment. Anasuri turned her head to look at Ekon, "Once we are away from the palace, mind letting the horses run? It's not the fastest way, but it's fun." It was a flat and sandy trail, perfectly safe for letting loose on.

Zaine easily stayed next to Melion, though he didn't get too close, he knew the hazards of getting too close. Ekon's steady hand helped though, he kept Zaine a reasonable distance for Anasuri but also at the perfect spot where he wouldn't have to move very much in order to help her if needed. So he was pretty good for now. "That sounds good to me, Princess." He spoke simply and clearly, and said the word without an ounce of spite. He only said it to show respect, not to be sarcastic though many people probably took it that way.

Anasuri grimaced at the title, but didn't say anything about it. Once they were away from the palace, she turned down the sandy trail, "Here it is. If you stay on the path it'll be fine - stop at the river." Anasuri debated asking if he wanted to race, but opted against that, since it would be his first time on this path, "Also, there are some low hanging branches. You're tall, and so is your horse, so be prepared to duck." There were also some jumps set up that Anasuri made herself (along with the help of the old knight) but there was room to pass them. With the warnings out of the way, Anasuri left after quickly telling Ekon, "Don't worry about sticking beside me. If your horse is faster, stop at the river, and I won't be far behind, if I'm faster, I'll wait for you." And with that, she was off, like a bolt of lightning.

Ekon took off seconds after Anasuri, he had listed to her words with a nod of his head. His stallion ran as quickly as he could, but ended up a bit behind the shire. Although he probably would've been able to keep up, Ekon did weigh him down. After all, the elf was rather big. Ekon kept his head low and made sure to duck whenever the time called for it. Which was rather annoying to Zaine but the horse stayed on his path.

After a long stretch of trail, a small jump covered about half of the trail. Anasuri and Melion soared over it with room to spare. The jumps only got bigger from there - the largest being the second to last. The two continued to easily jump all of the fences - no hesitation in any of the gigantic leaps. Once they reached the second to last, which is a monster log oxer. The two jumped that one as well, practice and patience paying off.

Ekon took the jumps with a graceful ease, as did Zaine. The horse was excited, as he was trained in jumping, he hardly ever actually used the training. Zaine put forth no hesitation, he soared over the jump, Ekon being careful as to not hit any branches.

The ride finished up soon after, the creek coming into view. Anasuri eased her shoulders back, Melion slowing down as a reaction. A few feet from the creek they stopped completely, and Anasuri fished inside her saddle bag for something.
