Silas never went out. He was the good cop, never drank and never partied. Not that he didn't want to. He was just a single man in his well into his 20s. He was nothing special and he didn't really crave one night stands too well. He also hated hangovers with a passion. But tonight? Tonight was a different night. He wanted to experience some of the excitement that he had felt whenever he had just turned 21. He wanted to relive those moments when he could act carelessly and wasn't too worried about what would happen in the morning. So he ended up changing into a pair of black pants and a loose button down shirt. He left the three top buttons unbuttoned, trying his best to look more like a man than a cop. Although, some people digged the whole cop thing. He ended up at the bar not too far away. The bar was louder than he had remembered it being. Also way noisier. There were couples off the wazzoo and making out in subtle corners. The make outs were intense enough that he could arrest them for public indecency but then right now, He was trying not to be a cop so he let it slide. "May I help you?" A young bartenders gaze trailed down his body, taking him all in. "Why yes, what's the strongest drink you got here tonight?" He used to say go big or go home back in the day. The bartender smirked knowingly. "I'll give it to you behind the counter," She slapped his ass playfully with a giggle and went to make the drink. He jumped a little at the interaction but relaxed quickly. She followed him to the counter and she made him the drink. "It's on the house tonight. You look like you've hadn't had any fun in years," She slid the drink toward him and nudged him toward the first woman she saw,"She looks cute and no wedding band." He stumbled into the woman, barely managing to not spill his drink on her.

Rylee was having a great time. She'd had a few drinks, and she couldn't deny she was a bit tipsy, but she was far from drunk. She was still high on alert. Her gaze was still constantly scanning the bar, making sure there were no cops around. Even if they were off duty, she had no doubt they would still arrest her and bring her in. And she really was in no mood to be dragged out of the bar in handcuffs or have to run and slip away. She wanted to have a great time and just relax a little. Forget all her worries.
She was just sipping at another drink and watching the TV when she felt someone bump into her. She turns, but what she sees surprises her. It was the freaking cop. Oh, what was his name? Stiles? Stien? No, no. It was Silas. She narrows her eyes, great. What was he even doing in a bar anyway? He didn't seem like much of a drinker. Should she run? Was he to drunk to know who she was? She was kind of confused on what she should do.

He had been drinking before the bartender had pushed him into the woman. He wasn't sure exactly what, he had just asked for liquor because go big or go home. What was in his drink now, he had no idea. Although, he knew it was the good stuff. If it had been poured on the woman, it wouldn't stain her clothes but it. would probably make them smell for decades. The smell was strong enough to burn one's nostils straight off. "Oh, I'm so sorry, ma'am," He instantly apologized, his words a little slurred. She looked slightly familiar but he couldn't place exactly where. His gaze traveled down her body and back to her face,"My friend had this crazy idea in her head and pushed me toward you." His hand did go to her waistline but just to make sure she didn't fall from his weight hitting her. Of course his reaction had been delayed, even his response to her. "what's your name?" He asked,"It only seems respectful to know the name of the woman I almost poured my drink on."

Rylee couldn't help but wrinkle her nose at the smell of whatever the guy had in his hand. God, what did he order? Something powerful and strong that's for sure. Silas was quick to apologize, but his words were slurred. Rylee couldn't believe her luck. He was drunk! Or at least too tipsy to know who she was. Ha! She did move away though as his hand went to her waistline. She still did not like physical contact. She narrows her eyes, studying Silas. Was he really drunk? Or was he just acting so she would let her guard down and he could arrest her again?
Her name?
"Don't worry about my name." She replies. If he was only just tipsy, reminding him of her name may just pull him back to the world of soberness, and then she'd have an issue. "And don't worry about the drink thing. Trust me, I've had worse poured on me." That was no lie. She was half convinced he really was drunk. But, she was still on edge, and her eyes dart around the room. Trying to see if she could spot any of his cop friends. She was not about to get trapped. The first sight of another cop and she was gone. Out the door.
Her gaze slowly returns to Silas, taking another step back as she holds her drink in her hand. Out of all the bars in town and he had to come to this one? There was no way that was a coincidence. Right?

"Oh?" He arched an eyebrow at the mention of not worrying about her name. He wanted to know her name but didn't pry. After all, he did like a little bit of a mystery woman. When she stepped back, he frowned a little. "Well I'm," He frowned some more and took a sip of the drink, making a face. It was strong, that's for sure. He couldn't exactly remember his name. He was drawing a blank. He looked a little confused and thought hard. Then it hit him,"Oh yeah....I'm Silas." He took another sip. He couldn't help but notice the woman was relatively attractive. The bartender was right about her being attractive. He just wasn't too sure if she was interested in him. "You've had worse poured on you?" He questioned, his frown erasing to a small smile,"Like what?"

Silas.
She knew that already, but she wasn't going to let him know she knew that. She simply flashes a small smile. "Nice to meet you." That was a lie. Ever since her encounter with him at the station, she was not a big fan of him. Especially after the whole little interview thing. That had pissed her off, and the last question had completely thrown her off.
Another smile flickers across her face, though this one was not amused. "Er. I rather not go into detail. It was kind of... traumatizing." Oh, she'd been in wrong places at wrong time and gotten stuff like wet cemet on her. Or worse, animal crap that someone had chosen to throw at her just to make her day worse
(Once again. Sorry it's short, XD)

Silas didn't know that this woman was someone he knew before. He was drunk, maybe a little too drunk. He definitely wasn't going to remember anything from this night. But all worth it right? He was having fun and not investigating a criminal that was long long gone. He couldn't even remember what the criminal's name was. "Aww well poor you. That must have been terrible," He sounded sympathetic. He took another sip and smiled gently,"Can I get you another drink?" He wasn't that good at flirting with women. The last relationship he had didn't end well. Since then, he had just focused on work. He didn't know the first thing about flirting with women.

Rylee flashes a half grimace,"Eh. Not really." She'd gotten use to it. Another thing of being homeless. You just kind of learned to roll with whatever happened, no matter how terrible. And some days, especially in a big city like London, it got bad. She'd lost count how many times people had been rude to her, for no reason. And done things to her she did not deserve. Did she like being homeless? No. But, getting a home would put her on the records, and she was still wanted for her previous crimes and escaping prison way too many times.
She glances down at her drink, it was still half full,"Thanks, but no thanks. I'm still good on mine." She lifts it slightly to show. She probably wouldn't drink another one anyway. She had her limits on drinks, and she was kind of worried the bartender would spike it a little just to get her to loosen up. It kind of looked like that, by the way the bartender was eyeing the two of them.
It surprised her that Silas could be so.... what was the word? Relaxing to talk to? Of course, at the moment, he was drunk. But, some did say that being drunk exposed the real you. So maybe the Silas she had met was just a mask. Someone who had hidden their true self to protect them. Or maybe something traumatizing had happened and so he just wanted to protect himself. Who knew?
