Ekon nodded then stood, picking the basket back up with ease. Now that he'd rested his arm, it wasn't an uncomfortable burden anymore. He waited patiently for Anasuri, his eyes skimming the area around them warily.

Once Anasuri was finished, she picked up the pain of herbs and berries, and began the walk back to the palace. It was mid-afternoon when they arrived, and it had been an easy trip. Anasuri released Dava, who shook herself off and rubbed against Anasuri's leg, "We are going to stay out to let our friends move and do what they want."

Ekon nodded and suddenly, Dakota was there. The huge bear made Ekon smile as he rubbed up against Ekon. "Stop Dakota, you're going to make me fall over." The bear was in fact, very heavy and fully capable of making Ekon fall. Dakota smirked and huffed before walking over to Dava. Happy to see his friend again.

While the bears played and did what they needed to do, Anasuri set to healing the scratches she got while tromping through the woods. None of them were bad, but it was easier to heal them herself than have to deal with her father or the healers bothering her about them. Edited at August 9, 2019 12:52 AM by bumblebee

Ekon watched as Dakota played with Dava, softly swatting her and keeping his real strength hidden. The bear would turn his intense gaze on Ekon often, it was obvious that he knew Ekon was hiding something from him but Ekon didn't plan on telling the bear. He knew that Dakota would argue with him and challenge his ideals and it would damage their companionship. Ekon didn't want that so he kept his plans a secret. Finally his golden gaze settled on Anasuri, noticing that she was healing herself. "Are you okay?" He seemed generally worried, had she hurt herself and not told him?

Dava knew that Dakota was holding back, and appreciated that from her bear friend. Every so often, Dava would swat back at Dakota, but she never tried to make contact. After a while of playing, Dava stood and bopped her snout against the larger bears, "Want to eat before going in?"
Anasuri nodded, "Yeah. Just normal scratches from bushes and such - nothing big or bothersome. Did you scratch yourself up at all?" Anasuri was a kind person. Although she didn't trust Ekon, she would help him if she could, and wouldn't be mean.

Dakota looked down at the other bear and finally sat up with his bear grin. "Yea, I need some food. I have to go into the woods though so I guess I'll see you soon." He didn't think Dava wanted to see him hunt so this was probably where they'd part ways for a bit.
Ekon had a few tiny scratches on his arms but it wasn't like he cared about them anyways. "No, I'm fine thank you." He kept his head down, never looking Anasuri in her eyes. It was what he'd been taught, now that he was finally settling into the routine, he really had to start using his teaching to keep his job.

Dava huffed in agreement and went off to the bamboo garden, where she began to munch and eat her fill of the heavy stalks.
Anasuri shrugged, "Okay." If Ekon didn't need or want her help, that was fine with Anasuri. She would rest with an easier conscious knowing she at least offered.

Okey))
Ekon woke up early to get himself ready for going out to town. He made sure to put on his metal bracelets and earrings. You never know what might happen in a new town.

Anasuri had her coin purse stashed safely away in the loose sash she wore, paired with a long and loose pale blue dress. It swished around her legs as Anasuri walked through her room, murmuring to herself. After being fully prepared and ready to face the world, Anasuri knocked once on Ekon's door, then went out into the hall. The stable was on the side of the palace, so a different route had to be taken to make the trip shorter.
