When she offered that I could sit I looked at all the furniture.

"I don't want to break anything," I said awkwardly before glancing out the window. The crows were still outside the window and a blood vessel appeared on my forehead. I realized the crows must think I am one of them now, "damnit" I mumbled. Then I heard steps, soon followed by the opening of a door handle.

A female human that looked about Clara's age had walked through the door. Her attention immediately fell on me as she ignored Clara. I didn't know what to do other than raise my eyebrow at her, I technically didn't even have to talk to anyone. Clara drug me out of her thoughts when she mentioned never coming in her room. When the girl said sister they didn't even look alike so I looked between the two but couldn't find any resemblance. I spaced out for a bit while they "talked" for a bit.

Clara's voice dragged me out of my thoughts as she neared the window. I wondered if she meant to leave permanently, for a while, or only briefly. I guess it wasn't my job to direct her in the right path like a guardian angel would do. I just have to make sure she doesn't die. I let out a sigh as I watched her contemplate jumping out the window. I raised an eyebrow and then rolled my eyes before I pulled her back. I proceeded to pick her up in my arms before I jumped out the window and set her down on the ground not letting go at first. She might have been dizzy so it just meant more work for me if I didn't give her time to recover for a second.

"You confuse me doll," I said watching her recover her balance as I pulled my hands away. I glanced at the crows and they wouldn't take their eyes off of me, "Okay so they might not be attached to me-" I mumbled. They might sense something is going to happen, it only made me nervous for a bit. I calculated how far away the forest was in case we needed to make a dash for it. For me, it was the safest place and as long as Clara was with me, the demon guarding it would ignore us. I opened my second set of eyes on my human body so one set could focus on her while the other looked around, A normal human wouldn't be able to see my second pair of eyes.

"Be careful doll, I have a bad feeling and I don't want you running off causing me to get in trouble because I couldn't do the one task of keeping you alive," I said in a stern but almost reassuring tone. It was probably the only time she hadn't heard me with an irritated or made tone. I just hated how she yelled at me so maybe if I died it down a bit she would stop arguing. Sure I was fighting my nature as a demon but that was better than arguing 24/7.

I turn my head to the side and said " why do I confuse you of all people " as I smiles slightly before hearing his concerns before saying "I understand if you think it is not safe out I'll guess I'll have to stay even though I hate this place " before I turned and looked away from him as I was not wanting to yell at him or even argue with anything before she turns and said " can I at least show you around my town if you don't mind " as she smiles softly before walking to a tree and leads on it ad she was so curious about him now wondering what he was thinking and things before she looks away and said "tell me why are you calling me doll I am not one of those even though I am a smaller then you are I bit no one can hurt a man like you at least " before I sighed then said " come let's get ice-cream " as I grabbed his hand and pulls him in to the sidewalk and down it heading towards a ice-cream shop as I let go of his hand and said " sometime you got to take risks and stop worrying about things that goes around you "

As I walked and looked down I sighed then said " oh I want to apologize for my step sister actions and busting into the room " as I knew dad gave her a warning before always ask to come in but you just show up but I guess she doesn't like listening to him at all, I turn to the door where the ice-cream show was and said " go in I don't care if you don't want to I'll drag you in if I have to " as I felt a smirk across my lips before I licked them and walks inside the cashier girl said " Clara welcome I through I'll never see you alone again " I smiles and said " yeah well I am not alone I brought a friend with me " the cashier glances at him and said " my he is a tall one but what can I get for the both of you too " as I was looking through the ice-cream list couldn't even know what to get, I knew my favorite was strawberry Carmel truffle as I decided to order that again make her day a lot better at least for now.

I stared towards the woods with my arms crossed, sensing that the current guard was walking extremely close to the edge. close enough that if a human was standing outside the forest they would be able to spot him. I let out a sigh as I glanced towards the crows, they were not going to leave me alone. I only hoped that there wasn't a psychic in this village or one of the "friendly witches".

I was dragged out of my thoughts when Clara asked why I called her a doll. I heard her reasons for me not to call her a doll, but to be honest it only made me want to continue calling her doll and annoy her.

"This is going to sound weird coming from a demon, but you are only paying attention to the negatives and not the positives," I said with my voice now monotone. My poker face decided to appear and I was glad it did, it was hard for me to use my poker face. I know they say some just have a poker face, but there are moments when it works and other times when it doesn't.

The moment she brought up ice cream my stomach felt like it did a backflip making me feel like I wanted to throw up. I don't like sweets, not demons don't in general except for a few species. I preferred bitter food, and lots of seasoning, I doubted most of the food here had any seasoning in general. When she grabbed my hand to drag me to get ice cream I let out a sigh. I smirked coming up with an idea, I wasn't going to say anything until we were outside of the ice cream shop though.

"I'm lactose intolerant, we don't exactly have milk where I am from and it will make me extremely sick if I have any milk products," I said, which technically I wasn't wrong, there isn't any milk in hell. The darker skin of my human form made it obvious I wasn't from here either.

I sighed when he said that and said " oh I am sorry didn't mean that I guess if you don't mind if I take flowers to a graveyard that I know of " as I walks away towards the flower shop . I knew what my mother love it was also flowers me and our dad but that all change after she was gone, I bought red roses and walks to the graveyard in side before find her grave which marked " in sweet memories of Carrie Clarkson" also was when she was born and when she died, as I kneeled down and took the old dead flowers out I slid the new ones in and sighed before saying " I miss you mom everything is not the same with out you " as I looks at the grave before saying " at least I have someone to hang around with even through he is not much company and doesn't like to smile much " as I chuckles to myself before looking at him and said " this is my mother she died by a car accident probably my fault since I didn't want to go walking with her".

Driving along on Clarksville Dr towards home I was looking out side the window when I spot a horse out side as my dad got a weird phone call I couldn't hear what the person on the other side was saying but I understand what was going on cause of the sound of my dad voice made me worried as we changed direction and speeded thru traffic before I gasp at a accident I got out and started running as a cop grabs me and slows me down but he realized I was her daughter my dad didn't come and she didn't understand why he didn't as she headed to the car that was holding my mom from her middle of her stomach, as I walked towards the car I could see the guy crying and sitting down on the side of the road she didn't understand why he was crying he was the one that hit her not losing her at all. I made it to my mom who wasn't really moving as much just breathing Calmly I scream " help her out of this " but mother shakes her head and said " it kill me sweetheart ".

As she close the memory knowing she was crying some and mumbles " I am just a little cry baby "

I followed behind her until we got to the flower shop. I waited outside with my arms crossed, staring at the ground. I was spaced out, it isn't my nature to protect anyone, so this job was difficult. I lifted my head to look at everyone around us. Many people stared, and my gaze wandered between all the faces. My eyes landed on one specific mortal who clearly knew what I was. I was creeped out because if you knew what a demon was, and did your research it isn't that hard to get rid of a simple demon.

I was grateful once Clara finally walked out. She called to me, making it obvious to the stranger they knew who I was. I didn't want to turn my back to the stranger but to keep an eye on Clara I had to. I followed her into a cemetery, the Ghost infestation here was terrible. it was obvious someone was trying to get rid of them, but they placed their sigils in the wrong Spots. I looked at them and cringed as I followed Clara to a certain grave. There was even a ghost here but I seemed to be the one that belonged to the grave because they called out Clara's name and she immediately had a flashback.

I sighed, I couldn't tell if it was a bad memory or not so I couldn't pull her out of it without accidentally injuring her. I turned and looked at one of the sigils and rolled my eyes. When I walked over to it I saw the mortal again. I stared at them as I ruined the sigil made of stones. They were clearly irritated, but I just stuck my tongue out and kicked the rocks somewhere else. I rearranged them correctly and it immediately impacted half of the ghosts. I watched as some of the evil spirits sprinted towards me before they disappeared, knowing I was the one who laid the sigil. I turned toward the person who now stared with their jaw open and I flipped them off before returning to Clara. It seemed that she had just snapped out of her memory.

"overwhelming emotions are normal for mortals like yourself," I stated looking down at her. "I'm not saying this in a nice way but I'm not saying it in a bad way. All humans cry, and despite how annoying it is, it is natural." I said looking her in the eyes before pausing "Don't even think about hugging me." I added stepping back a bit.

"Also, do you know them?" I asked pointing to the person who had watched me the entire time and was now stomping through the cemetery towards me.

Clara | third person

She looks up at him and said " don't worry I won't hug you since you don't seem that kind of person " as she sighed before looking away from him and heard his question before looking up and at the person and said " if I did I would have said something to them but I don't " as she backs up a bit behind the grave stone and said " what do you think that person want " as she was scared she would get hurt or he would why was she worried about him it not like she was taking a liking to him as she sniffs before watching what was going on before asking " what are you going to do about him " as she was scared and confused on why their was someone tracking then was it because of him or her as, she looks around to see if there was anywhere else to get out and she saw a exit door she didn't even say anything to him and takes off running towards that area she saw maybe she could save herself

When she opens the door she sighed looking back and then ran out and down the street as she try to find someone she knew to help her she didn't know what happens back there with Phantom but maybe she should have stayed like he probably wanted that way the stranger doesn't come after her at all
