I was a little startled when he asked why I wasn't eating but I figured why not. "I was told not to eat until the head of the house took their first bite," I said picking up my silverware "I guess that is one of the more common traditions I was taught though, but normally only high-ranking families do it." I explained "Kings, Grand dukes, Grand Prince, Archdukes, and Princes normally do it in their household. I noticed that's how it was when I was dragged to a few dinners, anyone who didn't listen sometimes was dragged out because it was an immediate sign of disrespect," I added before starting to eat my food and smiled when he complimented my food. "I'm glad and I can't wait for you to try my pork roast, I was always praised for it by visitors and even my father," I said with a smile. As I carefully cut up my steak and eat, "some people put cheese on their baked potatoes but I didn't know if you wanted some of not," I said before taking another bit.
