Towards the end of Leroy's show of colors, he stood and stretched his now sleeping limbs. If they stayed too long it would be morning again without them getting a chance to sleep, something he would like to avoid personally. "If you would like to follow me, we can set you up with a spare den in camp. That way I can get mine back." As he spoke, more of his accent twisted its way out but not by his choice. He cursed in his thoughts and hoped she could understand him with ease. The brute led her back to camp, passing his own den which she had earlier occupied when she first got here. The spare one for her was close to it but not directly next to it, almost 2 over entirely. Leroy stepped inside asking her to wait a moment for him out there, shuffling around a bit on the inside. He grabbed the skin that was on the floor, a small hide from a deer, nothing he would deem comfortable himself. He dragged the hide out of the den and to his, grabbing the one that was in his as replacement which was from a bear the pack had taken down a month ago. Thankfully only some got injured due to the amount of wolves present during that hunt. He returned to her and her den, setting the bear pelt down gently and grinning at himself with pride. "Ok, come on." He said, allowing her entry now so she could make herself comfortable. The only downside to switching was that she may not enjoy smelling the male everywhere, plus it may even attach to her if she slept on it. Leroy didn't seem to care or be bothered by this fact, too focused on keeping her happy for the evening just as if she was his own pack. He couldn't put his paw on the feeling that he was experiencing but dismissed it as he would worry about it later.

"Well what are you going to sleep on? I'm fine with sleeping on whatever, the burrow is literally just a pile of rabbit skins pushed together" She chuckled at the male's choice to change her bed for his. She was nervous to sleep in such a strange place but the invitingness of male male provided some comfort. And she WAS exhausted, one night surely wouldn't hurt. Her mouth formed into a yawn and she felt sleep taking over. This den was MUCH bigger than the burrow she thought looking around. She padded closer to Leroy and nudged his neck with her nose softly. She felt a slight tingle come over her body as she touched him. Her tail wagged slowly as to her her it was tired as well. "Thank you, for everything Leroy. I've had such a wonderful day today" She whispered as she padded to the bear skin and made circles until she was comfy and rested her head on her paws softly. What an eventful day...

Leroy let out a breathy huff as she nudged his neck, it shot little sparks through his skin and down all the way to his tail. This she wolf was very different to almost all he had met prior, yet he struggled to place what it was about her that did make her so different. He left her den as she settled herself down for the night, padding back to his own for some well deserved sleep. Today had been busy for his pack with the new and unexpected visitor, exhaust leaving its toll on his body as he felt sluggish. On his way back he ran into his beta, giving him a slight nod of acknowledgment before disappearing into his den. The deer skin he traded out with Heart was not nearly the level of comfort he was used to that the previous bears pelt had provided. Leroy's bones ached and protested against the hard floor as he made himself ready for sleep, no doubt something he would feel come morning time. So the brute cleared his mind, closing his eyes and letting himself drift off to an almost peaceful sleep, only moving on the occasion to reposition for comfort.

Heart awoke feeling very well rested. She had never slept so comfortably before the pelt was like sleeping on a Leroy scented cloud. She didn't mind the smell as for some reason his scent brought her comfort and peace at a level she hadn't felt before. The sun had started peaking it's orange morning glow into the den and Heart felt she needed to get up. But first she rolled onto her back and kicked her legs out in a stretching position. She wondered if anyone else was up and she got to her feet and stuck her head out to see if anyone was awake yet. The sight she saw was beautiful and completely breathtaking. The sunrise from here was so much better than the valley, the way the colors seemed to dance in the sky was just amazingly beautiful. Even with her bad nose she could smell the flowers in full bloom here, unlike the valley the smelled of death...

Leroy was restless towards sunrise, every new position had him growing more uncomfortable. Thankfully, he grew tired enough that he fell back asleep this much it was quite deep. His breathing was a rhythmic pace, almost sounding like he was huffing on repeat with only a slight pause in between each one. The brute was so out of it by said sunrise, the only thing that could wake him was himself or a nudge. Pups were still asleep in the camp, a notable thing due to all the parents and elderly up and about already. Mothers and father were getting their alone time in while it lasted, nuzzling one another or chatting about the previous day. Elderly seemed to just be enjoying the quiet morning with only the chips of birds within the distance to break it. Leroy was sprawled out, looking like a carcass by the time the sun began to climb the ridge, peaking over the mountain tops. The sky lit up in orange, welcoming everyone to a new and nice day with lovely weather to compliment it.

Heart decided to find Leroy, and padded out of the den. The morning dew made her paws wet, but she didn't mind. She found that and she had been in yesterday, and slowly walked inside following Leroy's strong scent. She found him sprawled out looking half dead and her eyes got wide. She hoped he was okay and pawed his face a couple times to see if he'd wake. "Sleeping beauty wakeeee up!" She yipped at him playfully

Leroy snapped awake, his instincts kicking in quicker than his awareness as he growls lowly, baring his teeth to the intruder. Or so he thought, the fog cleared giving him a look at Heart. He dipped his head, whispering his apologies as he pads outside of the den with. "Sorry, that only happens on occasion I swear," The brute wears a frown as he takes in the morning around him, upset at himself for reacting so harshly to just a simple wake up. Maybe that was why he couldn't find a mate? If he never had any heirs the pack could potentially abandon him, as a pack needs an alpha always. "How did you sleep, Heart?" Leroy asked her, clearing his thoughts from the grim subject of being abandoned. He would rather focus those thoughts on Heart and the pack presently.

Heart eyes were wide from the males reaction. Maybe this wasn't such a great idea... "I slept like a pup, I'm sure you didn't sleep well on that raggedy thing" she morioned toward the old deer pelt. "What's a girl to do around here anyway?" Heart ask tauntingly. She had grown bored and was itching for something to do, while she wasn't starving anymore the boredom killed her. At home there was always SOMETHING that had to be done everyone here seemed to leisurely.

Leroy lowered his head, feeling apologetic about his behavior towards her when she woke him up. "It really wasn't that awful, I am glad you slept well though," he spoke in response to her comment about her sleeping like a pup. Perhaps he could snag a different skin or pelt to sleep on this next night from someone else. "Well, I could gather everyone for a big hunt. We are quite low on food." He remembered, taking note of the flies circling the pile of bones that made up the packs remaining prey. A few vole and rabbits littered the area, his guess from his beta who went hunting last night. "Have you ever done a big hunt before or would you rather something else?" Leroy asked Heart, his head tilting slightly as he questioned her. ((bit short, sorry. I was at a renaissance fair this weekend so I didn't have time to send something out sooner.))
