Pālima Female Acrocanthosaurus || M: Humans. Fang, Luminous, Aral, and Nut (ind) ~ (Warning! Pālima has one of the dudes for a snack.) ~ Pālima woke up after that long "event". The grass poking her belly was replaced with cold, hard metal, and the warmth of Aral snuggling her was nowhere to be felt. The roaring of angry Nut was no longer there, and she couldn't here the clicking of Luminous trying out a new trap idea. The first time in her whole life, she missed the stomping of Nut's foot on the ground as he woke her up to go hunt. ~ The muttering of humans outside was loud and clear, but she couldn't tell what those sounds were for. Maybe they communicate like we do? Maybe I should go ask Ar- She stopped herself, noticing she almost thought about asking her shy sister the question. She focused her attention back to the humans, who were now standing in front of her cage and inspecting her closely. She let out a guttural growl and they jumped back a bit. ~ Pālima studied the walls around her that were squeezing her into a laying position. Maybe it's breakable, and that's why they jumped back? She examined the bars in front of her while thinking. Those are way too tight, I probably couldn't fit one claw through it! They were a dark gray color, while the rest of the surrounding cage was light gray. It felt and looked extremely hard, but why did the humans jump back if she couldn't hurt them? ~ Pālima immediately smashed her face into the bars in front of her, sending the humans stumbling back. They were slightly dented and curved, but nowhere near broken. ~ Pālima sighed before squeezing herself into the far back, curling her tail around herself. She curled her tiny arms underneath herself and twisted her neck to avert her gaze from the strange little snacks right outside. ~ The cage started to wobble, and she jerked her head up. She made a sound like a crow, but deeper. Then, she felt it begin to move as it was slid into a little slot and begin to travel through the tunnel. Then, the gates opened up and she ran out. ~ It was a small cage that looked like a shrunken steppe. It had little flowers covering the floor. A small stream flowed through a spot; it was barely big enough for her to fit her snout in. The walls around looked like they were made of stone except the one spot that was pushed into her pen a bit more for the glass. ~ She sighed, looking down at the water. Oh well. It'll do for now. She though, dipping her snout down into the water. She could feel the gaze of the humans searing into her back, and it was uncomfortable. She looked above herself and saw a few branches looming over her. Is freedom that close, or am I just destined to be trapped here? She thought, sighing. Even if I did escape I'll- She stopped her thoughts as tears welled up in her eyes. -I'll probably never see them again. My family. I hope they're okay. She looked up at the sky before letting out her saddest sounding roar possible. All because of these humans- She spun around to face the glass. -my family left! She charged at the glass snarling before smashing her head through and grabbing a hold of one of the humans. The others backed away where her jaws couldn't reach. The other wasn't so lucky, but it was definitely delightful to her taste buds. ~ Oh well. Sad the she can't crawl through that spot. It's just not big enough for her to fit through. Do you mind if Aevink can be the one to fully break out and free Pālima? Or do you want to wait a little bit before doing the breakouts?

Fang Nut Luminous Aral Male Male Male Female || M: Each Other ~ Fang was still asleep. It had been a few hours since the attack... and Pālima's disappearance... Nut was just chilling next to a large rock and hogging up the nice shade. Luminous was laying next to Fang while cuddling Aral. Luminous had his tail curled around his sister, comforting her, and Aral had her head rested on Fang's neck. ~ Fang was asleep, and had darkness underneath his eyes. Nut had a smug yet relieved expression on his face, probably because he didn't get hurt. Luminous looked sad, but also trying to comfort a sobbing Aral as he licked her tears away. Aral was just incredibly depressed, she's was very close to Pālima. ~ Luminous sighed as he nuzzled Aral gently. "Don't cry. She's still alive. I promise you that!" He purred and she looked at him. "Y-you can g-guarantee that!" She sniffed and looked at Nut. "Why are you not sad? You're the one who caused this, you jerk! You could've just dodged them! You didn't have to sacrifice Pālima!" She snarled angrily and he just looked up and smirked at her. "She was annoying anyway. Maybe even more annoying than you. One less I have to share with." He said with a content grin as he studied his claws. "Ooh, maybe need to wash these. They're not shiny anymore" "Shut up! Your claws are not important right now you arrogant, careless excuse for a brother!" Luminous snarled, joining Aral's side and making her smile at least once after Pālima died. (She is not actually dead, they just think so) "You're not the brother we once knew. Ever since mother's death, you've become an expert at being a jerk." He said with a lowered voice, but the anger still thick in his tone. "Maybe you'd be better off if you left us alone. Just go away Nut, and leave us alone. You are no longer a member of our group. Get lost!" He hissed and stood up to snarl. Nut stood up and walked over to them, stomping on Aral's head. "Say that again, and say goodbye to your last sister, tricky boy." Nut hissed with a sharp edge in his tone. Luminous made a threatening growl at him before using the tip of his tail to make a loud rustling sound, and whipped his head around. "What was that?" He said, purposely adding a curious tone in his voice. Nut snapped his head up and looked towards the sky. Stupid. Luminous thought and snapped his jaws on the snarky acro's neck, shoving him off of Aral and pinning him to the ground, keeping his grip firm on his neck. "Luminous!" Aral roared before gently tugging him off. "No, you're better than that. I bet he's learned his lesson, haven't you, Nut?" She said, turning to a very angry Nut. "Fine. I'll leave. This isn't over though, you three! And tell Fang I said that." He snarled before storming away, leaving the three acros behind him. ~ A hour later, Fang was awake, and Aral told the whole thing. He was surprised, maybe even slightly angry at them for playing leader, but he didn't argue. Luminous was licking his sister's wounds from when Nut stepped on her, but they weren't very bad wounds... But now, Nut was out for their blood..~ Edited at May 10, 2023 07:29 PM by Fruit Lovers
