Fen spent his night in his room with the door locked securely. Now that it was over and the adrenaline rush had faded, he regretted what he said. It was made worse by the fact that he could hear his parents yelling all night, arguing about him. There wasno going back now, everyone in the kingdom knew and pretty soon the news would spread to other kingdoms. You can't trust the maids not to talk to each other, not to gossip. He hoped that it wouldn't end up back at the WereAngel kingdom, that it wouldn't affect Lucian. ~~ It was morning and Fen hadn't slept at all. He was exhausted, but worse, dreading leaving his room. There was a knock on his door, almost too quiet and he knew that his parents wouldn't have done that. When he opened it Hel was standing there, tears rolling down her cheeks and nose red. "Hel, what's wrong?" His eyebrows knitted as he knelt down to her level. ~~ "D-dad said.. said that you ha-hated us." She cried, her whole body shaking with her deep breaths, trying to calm herself. ~~ "No.. no Hel, I would never hate you. Why would he- did he say that to you?" He pulled her into his arms and wrapped around her, wings protecting her as well. ~~ "He said that-that you hate us all.. and our kingdom. That you a-are trying to sabotage everything." She sniffed. Fen hugged her tighter. ~~ "That's not true. I love you. You're my sister." ~~ "Then.. why would he s-say that?" She calmed just a little, wiping her eyes and pulling back to look him in the eyes. Fen felt tears of his own but wouldn't let them fall. ~~ "Because.. Hel.. because I don't want to marry a woman. I want to marry.. marry a man." His heart was aching as she just sat there for a few moments. ~~ "You.. like boys?" ~~ "Yes, Hel. And daddy doesn't understand, so he's angry. But I promise, I do not hate you." He sighed and gave her a sad smile. She seemed to understand and nodded her head. ~~ "I love you too, big brother. What's gonna happen now..? If you don't marry someone, you can't be king." ~~ "I know. Don't you worry about it, okay? Its gonna work out in the end." He gave her one last hug and she wiped away the remaining tears from her cheeks, then slowly wandered out of his room and down the hall, sniffling. He had decided, he needed to talk to Lucian. Needed to figure all of this out. Fenriz got dressed, wearing black, then carefully brushed his hair and braided his signature two braids. Once he was done and he deemed himself presentable, the prince gathered a few things and was out the window of his bedroom. Heading for the WereAngel lands.

Lucian had barely slept after that. Who was that figure? Why did they look like him? He decided to get out of bed and get ready for the day. As he did, he noticed the book was still open to the pages he was last on, the pages that held some of the story about the two kings. He didn't pay much attention to the book, rather more focused on getting dressed and taking care of himself. . . . After he was done cleaning up, he walked down the halls and to the main entrance. Walking out of his home, he notified the knights, saying "If my parents or someone else asks, I am going to my special place." The knights nodded, before resuming watching their surroundings. . . . Lucian made it to his special place, although he felt as if someone was following him. He shook it off and entered the place. Murmuring the waterproof spell before diving into the lake's water, he shifted into wolf form. As he dived, he stayed at the bottom for a few minutes. He wanted to clear his mind. Fenriz had made it almost to the place, but just as he was approaching he noticed Lucian leaving. Fen followed after landing and walked the rest of the way. Soon enough they arrived at the place Lucian took him to the day before, and he watched as the other prince jumped into the water and dived down. Fen then came out of the shadows and sat in the grass, taking some breaths to process everything before he World have to face him. There was a lot he had to say. Fen held the stuff he brought behind him, waiting for the prince to resurface.

Lucian stayed at the bottom for longer than he expected at first. His thoughts wouldn't clear at all. He had stayed there for at least a half hour, maybe more, maybe less. When he resurfaced, he was greeted with the sight of the other prince. "Hey." He called out after he got out of the water and shifted back. "Sorry I took so long, my mother's half mer-folk so I guess I inherited that." Lucian walked over to Fenriz, wondering why he was here. Not that he was angry about it. He was actually quite happy that he was here. "Oh, by the way. I talked to my parents about... y'know. The whole thing." Once Lucian got to Fenriz, he sat down and reached over to his bag, pulling out the book from earlier and opening it to where it was bookmarked. He then began to read the rest of the story.

Fen was starting to worry just when he came up from the water. He smiled, hiding the items he brought from view when the other prince sat down. "I.. did too. Not intentionally. They actually fought all night about me." His smile faded as he recalled the night he had. The sleepless night. "I knew they would, honestly." With a slight shake of his head and a deep breath. ~~~ "Anyway, I brought you something. I hope you like it." He pulled out a Sketchbook and a set of colored pencils. They were his, and the first two pages has his sketches on them, but the rest were blank. He knew that Lucian would appreciate them more than he ever would, and actually use them. Fen handed them over.

He was silent for a moment. "Well, if it helps you feel better, you can stay over at my kingdom. We uh... We have a guest room. And you can also bring someone else, like a younger sibling?" Lucian bookmarked the page he was on, then closed the book. Seeing what the other brought, he smiled, barely containing his excitement. "Aw! I was in need of a new sketchbook and some more pencils! Thanks!" He took the supplies, placing them in his bag for now. Lucian's thoughts then returned to the book, and he picked it up again. "So uh... Apparently there's been lots of rulers of the same gender. I found this book" he began, lifting up the book so that Fenriz could see it, "and it has all sorts of stories that delve deep into the rulers' lives and all." Lucian handed the book to the other, then reached over and opened the book to King Lucas's and King Alonso's stories. "Read these rulers' stories. I found them very interesting." You can just have him read the stories and say that they sound like their stories so far. Or something else if you want!

Fenriz shook his head, "I can't stay in your kingdom. I just can't see how we will make that work, and besides, I am the heir to the thrown no matter what anyone says." He shrugged. Fen would be fine, if anything he would just stay in his room more than normal or come here. ~~ "I'm glad you like them. I just never use it, so I figured that would would like it more than I do." Fen smiled and watched him put the stuff in the bag and pull out a book. Fen wasn't much of a reader, he only read books when he was told to. Choosing other things to spend his free time rather than reading. ~~ "Really? I knew there had to be a couple but I didn't think there would be a lot of them." Fen read through the stories, skimming over the words for the most part. "That's.. their story is kinda like us." He looked up at Lucian for a moment then back down at the book. Fen then handed it back over, thinking it over. Maybe it wouldn't be so hard to be together, people had done it before.
