Accalia went to jump out of the way but yelped out in surprise, realizing she was now pinned. She whined, placing her front paws over her face before bursting into a fit of giggles, her tail rapidly moving back and forth, sweeping over the wildflowers. She quickly sobered up, her paws tucked up into her chest. Her brown eyes traced around his face, getting lost in her own world - where it was just the two of them.”Do you ever wish we didn’t have to sneak around? Maybe have a liter or two? Combine the packs together?” She blurted out, not even thinking of what escaped her mouth. Accalia’s head turned to the side, letting her left cheek rest against the ground, her tail swinging up to gently tap against Apricity’s hindquarters. She often wondered what it would be like to leave her own pack and become a part of his own. Something that often crossed her mind was whether or not she was ready to become a loner, travel to his own pack, and then become his officially. She wanted to spend every waking moment with him, but both of the pack prohibited that. Accalia’s head snapped to the treeline after hearing a twig snap but chalked it up to be her paranoia and maybe a rabbit or field mouse? She shook her head to rid the thoughts and turned her attention back to male close to her. She broke into a smile, reaching forward to press her nose to his, giving his muzzle several quick licks. But what Accalia failed to notice was the large body of wolf wandering the treeline out of sight; her brother, Haint, who seemed to be seething with rage and discomfort. He huffed with anger before running off, making the most noise possible.

A look of triumph crossed his face as Apricity pinned the dame, surprised he managed to do so. He looked down at her and admired her for a minute, taking in just how pretty she was. His expression softened as he took note of their size difference. He had never actually realized how small she was compared to him, so it was a bit of a shock. As she spoke, he took a second to think about his response. He looked deep into her eyes, and for a heartbeat he could picture the two of them with pups of their own. "Almost everyday I do. Sometimes I just wish we could sneak off and start a pack of our own." He sighed softly as he broke his gaze, glancing back out into the field. Apricity never really had any romantic interests, so she was his first. He never looked at anyone the way he looked at her. He could only imagine how angry his father would be if he was still around to know he was meeting with a dame from the other pack. As Accalia looked towards the treeline, he followed her gaze to see what she was looking at. But there was nothing there it seemed. Apricity looked back down at her and his eyes slightly widened as she pressed her nose to his, though he quickly regained his composure. He offered a gentle smile as she then licked his cheek, never wanting this moment to end. There were a lot of times he felt this way, but this time he really meant it. Again he cast a glance toward the treeline, just double checking to make sure everything was alright. As soon as he looked back down, he snapped his head back up whenever he heard something large moving, obviously meaning to make noise. He stepped off of Accalia and searched the treeline, but it seemed that whatever was there had been running away, not towards them. "Someone from your pack?" He questioned, his voice laced with obvious worry. If someone found out about them, all hell would break loose in both of the packs. What would they think, an alpha meeting with an omega? It was simply wrong and unheard of. Especially since the two packs weren't exactly overly fond of each other, as they had some history between them. Apricity had been told the stories as a pup, but he never cared to listen so he wasn't exactly sure why the packs disliked each other. But what he did know was that it was some silly reason that happened quite a bit ago.
