Aspen. Patrol leader. Rival. Mentions Hop Bog Aspen wearily hopped out of the cover of the trees and undergrowth. Stopping every so often to swivel her head around, she sniffed the air... There was a sweet scent not quite Blackberries but meybe another type of berry?

Hop & Bog / Patrollers / Mentions: Aspen
"I see berries," Bog slipped a bit as he left the stream, the spring sunlight making his fur steam. "But I don't recognize them."
"Don't eat them," Hop squeaked, still in the shadow of the larch trees. He was keeping watch while Aspen and Bog investigated.
"We can at least bring a sprig back with us," Bog suggested, standing on his powerful back legs to bite a twig with berries. "Maybe someone else will know what these are, and we can send the hauler to get the ripe blackberries."

Hope & Bog / Patrollers / Mentions: Aspen, warren
Bog, his mouth full and watering from the close smell of sweet berries, nodded and fell into step behind Aspen. Returning to the 'warren' was much faster now that they had some idea of the land between them and their new home, and Bog didn't mind being able to stretch his legs and shake the chill from his limbs.
Hop's shorter legs slid in the mud, unable to clear the puddles that his littermate could. It was a very cold and dirty buck that finally reached the warren, limping along behind his brother. Edited at August 30, 2022 03:27 PM by Weeds

Splash | Yearling | Mentions: Hop, Frost, Open! Splash was just laying in a nice sun patch when the patrol group returned. Bog was carrying a twig with some unknown berries hanging from it. Hop was covered in mud and seemed tired. Splash smiled when she looked at the food, her eyes moved over the three rabbits. Splash's eyes landed on Hop, she smiled at the young buck. She saw something in him he seemed cute... Splash gasped as she realized she was staring. She flattened her long ears in embarrassment and hopped over to where her father was sitting. She sat down next to him and leaned against Frost´s flank. She looked at the ground with a frown on her face but her eyes landed back on Hop. She felt attracted to him for some reason. Splash never was before so what was the reason now?

(Note; the weather has been updated!) Frost | Warchief | Mentions: Splash, Patrol, Open! The old warchief had been slaking his thirst in a puddle of water, letting the cool liquid wash down his throat. That was the one good thing about this interminable rain; it kept them from having to run down to the stream for water. It would be good to know if the area was safe, and he was fairly sure he'd seen the patrol leave. Ah - there they were now! It was clear from the muddy, rain-soaked condition of the three rabbits that they had been hard at work. Frost knew they would need to rest but - what was that twig Bog was holding. Curious, the Warchief rose onto his hindpaws, flattening his ears against the howling wind. The pressure of Splash's fur against him registered to Frost's brain, and he blinked, startled. The big rabbit moved slightly, doing his best to shield his daughter from the rain and wind while they waited for the patrol.
Leaper | Warclaw | Mentions: Moon, Open! The wind whistled in the warclaw's ears, making him flatten the black-tipped pinnae against his skull. Why did it have to be so rainy?! It was clear to him that the warren would benefit from being in a clearing once everything was established - grass always grew better in sunny areas, after all - but at present it was miserable. The wind seemed to be getting worse as the sunlight faded, Leaper noticed with annoyance. Would it always be this rainy here in spring? The buck was too young to know the answer. As the patrol approached, Leaper looked at them curiously, then lowered his head against the wind. It would be hard to talk in this weather; they would have to get close to eachother. Oh...maybe he could use that for an....idea of his. The young buck tried to ignore the twisting feeling in his stomach as he approached the familiar silver form of the object of his affection. "Hey! Do you think they'll ask us to head out in this weather?" he asked Moon, raising his voice to be heard over the wind.

Scruff | Denizen | Mentions: Hop, Bog, Aspen, Warren? Scruff noticed that the patrol group was back. Bog seemed to have some berries on a twig, they seemed familiar. The small buck realized that no one really knew what the blue-berries were so Scruff decided to hop over and help out the situation. "Nice berries you got there Bog." Scruff squeaked before sniffing them. They were sweet-smelling, he was certain he had eaten these as a kit when his mother brought some to him. "I am pretty sure these are called blueberries." Scruff said scratching his ears with his hind leg.

Hop & Bog / Patrollers / Mentions: Scruff, warren
"Pretty sure, or certain?" Bog asked, voice muffled from the twig. "Because poisonous or not, I'll eat them if I have to hold them any longer." He placed the twig down at Scruff's feet so the denizen could get a better look at them. Wind battered the buck's long black ears.
Hop pressed against his brother's side, using Bog as shelter from the rain. He could see the mound of earth near a shallow burrow hole and sighed quietly. It wouldn't fit them all, but maybe they could take shelter in shifts?

Aspen. Patrol leader. Rival. Mentions Frost Aspen went to report to frost, she dipped her head to him, regretting her fur matted with mud "we found a blackberry bush and a patch of blueberries" she said " most of the blackberries are not ripe but a lot of blueberries are. "
