Cairo || Seeker Beast || Unicorn || M: Theo, Jasmine The large equine grunted in somewhat amused acknowledgement of Theo's suspicions. They are only watching because they think we will run... and his bond was right. Leaving the group, returning to the bliss that had been just the two of them, sounded heavenly. Theo's steady weight into his side only emphasized Cairo's wishing for the "good old days." At the mention of food, the unicorn pricked his ears and dropped his head down closer to Theo's level.
"It is a bit complicated when nearly every other beast is a carnivore," he sighed, adding an extra-dramatic, playful tone to his words. "Twiggy things are getting a little... dull. You're right, though; it appears we will be up and moving. Since the others have gone hunting, it seems logical that our next stop is civilization." As much as he wasn't fond of crowds and cramped marketplaces, he recognized the necessity of such a trip, especially for the humans that couldn't just eat raw meat or leaves. Such fickle creatures, though Cairo had grown to appreciate a few of them. Well, Theo. He'd grown to appreciate Theo. As his bond pushed off of Cairo's side and began a lazy meander back towards the rest of the group, the unicorn took the opportunity to violently shake out his blue-black pelt before turning to follow. Jasmine, the friendlier of the two hellhounds Cairo had met, approached and asked if he or Theo needed anything. He gently shook his head with a polite, "No, thank you, but I'll be sure to let you know if we do." As she trailed off to check on the rest of the group, Cairo broke into a trot and chuffed to Theo, "I'm coming!"

Shiva || Djali || Snapped Leader || M: Snapped, Asteria Pebbles clattered as she bounced down from her rocky perch, gait holding a careless heaviness as she moved back onto the grassland's level. Shiva pulled back her hood and ran a hand through her hair to get it out of her face, furrowing her brow as she did so. Her warm hazel eyes scanned the congregating beasts and humans around her until she located Asteria, her own bond. Shiva made her way over to the pitch black creature and tapped the beast lightly on her massive shoulder to gain her attention. She still wasn't sure how normal folks approached their beasts, but it wasn't like she was all buddy-buddy with Asteria yet. Shiva wasn't even sure how to function with being bonded in the first place. "There's a rivulet directly south of us that feeds into the main river running through Faolain," she began. "I want your opinion... and I'll talk with Eidrune and Victoria, as well... but I suggest we follow that rivulet. We'd be backtracking towards the Eredor Mountains again, but we'd have fresh water and a direct path. I'd assume there will be places to pick up provisions along the way as well." She caught the intense yellow stare of the hellhound and tilted her head slightly. Asteria was older than Shiva, of course, and the young woman figured that her bond would know more about her proposed route than she, a desert rat who never travelled, would. "Let me know if it's a horrible idea. I'd rather be told I'm wrong than have someone get injured." Solely because that would be a liability. She didn't know much about the other raiders, really, and had yet to form any sort of friendship with the others. The old part of her, though, still cared about them. Shiva wasn't sure what that counted for, if anything, but she didn't want anyone under her naive command to die. She was determined not to let anyone die on her watch. Theo Black // Seeker member // 18 // Mentions: Cairo, Jasmine, Kavik . +Gaze turning to the voice of the hellhound dropping his head in a slight bow, a sign of respect and greeting he was told. His fawn light hair falls over his eyes before he begins walking off again. Not much of a talker to others he doesn't know. Approaching a small bag he brought on his journey, he bends down digging around for a while. Suddenly standing up something wrapped up in a hard coat, he turns towards the unicorn+ . "You should know by know that I always got your back, though I don't have much as I could only carry a few hands fulls" . +Unwrapping the hare skin from the present a few strands of the beast favorite type of plant or well he hopes it's his favorite after they have known each other for over 2 years now. Opening up his hand he lays the offering on his palm bringing it closer to the other. A smile soon appears+ . "If you bite me I will make sure you carry the heavier loads including me" . +Though there was no promise behind his words he still tries to maintain a serious look toward the unicorn beast. Though it soon breaks into a soft giggle, the wind starting to pick up around them blowing a few strands of his hair off of his eyes. His gaze soon turns to the surrounding beast and humans, the only one he actually knew was the one other person also from his tribe. A sudden shiver springs up his spine but he shakes his head, a chilling feeling...a bad one?+ . "W-We should hurry up and move..." Edited at July 20, 2022 06:27 PM by Free-Claw12

Calamity|seeker|m: kavik, jasmine(Eva), Pygmy Calamity silenced her growl knowing he was as stubborn as she was. No use in trying to gain the truth. As she could hear in his heart beats he was more pained than he let on. Physically or mentally she figured the later. Her head turned slowly as the crunch of undergrowth signaled the approach of the groups other hellhound. A hellhound healer was a rare strange thing to her. An amused chuckle escaped her maw strange indeed. Both pairs of her flame red eyes settled on the female Jasmine. They hadn't met prior to the organization of the hunting party. She herself hailed from the volcanic regions north west of the desert and had been living in the Erren mountains ever since bonding with kavik a year ago. Cala believed the other hellhound or at least her bonded human Eva hailed from faolain forests. She respected the healer but was interested in seeing her fight. Naturally pack inclined their kind worked well in groups. She wanted to know the strengths and weaknesses of all her new companions. Her attention shifted back to Kavik as she spoke to him "I will find you before we leave I'm going to see about scouting. They will probably send a flyer but I'll go with them to cover the ground. " they would probably send the little flyer Pygmy to scout the skys as he was the safest bet if stealth was there mission. With this thought her massive head pressed into kaviks shoulder with a huff before turning towards the colorful little flyer. Her body rippling as shadows became wrapped around her concealing the canine beast within. As if she had never stood there at all. Eyes glowing like hot coals winked at jasmine as she passed by knowing full well her kin could see into the shadow realm even when not in it just as she could. Luminis || Female || Hypnotic Dragon || Snapped Raider || 56 Years || Human: Mac || M: Mac “Hey.” Speak of the devil and he shall appear. A sneer marks her toothy grin, her eyes moving while her head angles downwards in order to see him properly. Her striking eyes bore into the one she was forced to call her Bond. Her pupils narrow tremendously as she looks at the pale skinned boy – her gaze laced with disgust. However, it still held a gentle manner. At least, compared to what others could receive from the nightmare-beast. A growl – with the pitch and tone of an elephant’s, and the ferocity of a tiger’s – rumbles from her chest. Despite her distaste towards Mac, she… did consider him the most tolerable human she’d ever met. And that’s saying something coming from her – a malicious beast whose hatred for humans knew no bound. Now, it is unknown why exactly she hates humans. Even she herself did not truthfully know. Maybe it was their nature. Maybe it was their greed for materialistic objects. Maybe it was simply how weak they were when compared to everything. Though, it was likely due to her parent’s influence. Just, not in the way any would think. Seemingly oblivious to the blatant warning, the young man decides to sit down near her. His gaze shifts around camp for a second, before settling back on the dragon. “Luminis… Do you have plans besides the whole snapped group?” A slight smirk replaces the sneer – filled with malice and ill intent, as well as a hint of condescending pride. “Do I have plans? Little one, you should know better than to ask such a thing from one such as I. The real question should be: What plans do I have?” Luminis slowly shoves herself into a sitting position, her massive frame barely having enough room to truly maneuver. Her front talons grip the edge of the rock she sat upon like steel clams for a moment – causing small cracks to form on its surface. Her fanned tail is splayed carelessly across the rock, with the fan itself slightly hanging off. Her massive wings unfurl – not completely but near so – displaying her glorious, star-painted wings. The bioluminescent spots along her wings and body glow ever more slightly, as do the veins marking her horns. Their glow was not enough to hypnotize, but it could draw some attention. However, the stance was not made to last. Giving a quick and silent yawn (Luminis despised dragons who yawned with a roar. She saw them as fiends with no manners, as well as annoyingly disruptive) she dulls her glow and jumps down from her perch. She lands with a large thud, shaking the earth slightly with her tremendous weight. Though, not without much care – using her wings to lessen the blow by providing resistance. Her movements were slow but strong, each step placed with might care as she made the short distance to Mac. Lowering her head, she meets his gaze and with a hushed tone she speaks. “My question to you is, would you like to hear them?”

Mac||Male||Snapped||Member||Bond: Luminis||M:Luminis, Leha(Ref) Mac had notice the bioluminescence in her wings and body. He said “Your entire wings and body are beautiful.” When she had spoken he took a mental note on it. Luminis had gotten off the rock and when she spoke again he stood up walking to her side before saying “Yes I would maybe even I can help tho I probably won’t be able to do much given I am human.” He stood next to Luminis knowing that given their bond he could at least do that much. Mac said “I would also love to fly too so it isn’t much of a chance I guess with that. Tho I would still love to her your plans.” Mac began walking towards Leha figuring that Luminis was going that way but he stopped a bit waiting for her. Mac had been curious about Luminis’s life before their bond but never bothered to ask. Mac had been daydreaming a bit before waking up from it. He was waiting on Luminis’s response while staring at her wings. He thought about his family before shaking the thought away not wanting to think about it. He just stood before moving to the side still admiring her wings. Jasmine/Hellhound/Female/Seeker/Healer/M:Kavik,Calamity,Eva,Theo(Ref) Jasmine had nodded when she left Theo and his bond. She had been waiting for a response when she noticed something touch her. Slightly growling before noticed it was Eva she said “Sorry didn’t know it was you and I won’t.” She hear Kavik speak and said “Yeah if you could come with us.” She looked at Eva since she was by her. Jasmine looked at calamity as she left and looked at her. Once she left Jasmine sighed before saying “Why is a hellhound healer so rare and strange I just don’t understand.” She began heading towards the area where they had set up for healing work. She looked back before stopping and looking up. Jasmine then continued to head to the area before stopping there. She turned her head and body before sitting down waiting for the others. Michael Evans - Second Seeker - Beast: Tukaii - Mentions: Tukaii, Sorren, Onyx, other Seekers (indirect)
"Hey Michael, Tukaii, come over here let's discuss what we need to get from the town."
The call grabbed the young man's attention, tearing it away from his bonded and to the leader of the group, an older man he knew, though he appeared to not be too much older than himself. With a quick upward glance at the phoenix with him, he turned toward the man and started over to him.
In his usual manner, he walked over almost silently; his gait quick and light, but his bearing as that of confidence. On his way, his concrete gray eyes flicked over the others, no apparent purpose behind the action other than to glance at them. Then his gaze went to Sorren's beast, a large dragon with what he thought was a unique coloration. Despite everything, the dragon was a bit intimidating, if only because of the size.
Reaching Sorren, he halted in front of the leader, his eyes on him. Then his gaze went to the beginnings of what he thought was a supply list and a map of the area. Then his attention broke from the parchment and to the man himself again.
"Yes? I'd think that supplies would be fairly simple, unless there are some among us that need something more specific?" Michael phrased it as a question, subconsciously tilting his head slightly to the right, almost like a dog would.

Sorren|lead seeker|beast(onyx)|M: Michael,Tukaii, onyx(dir) Eva,cala,Pygmy(ind) "Yes? I'd think that supplies would be fairly simple, unless there are some among us that need something more specific?"
"Individual items I'm sure our members can go grab themsleves. Food, water, and directions are what I'm looking for" Thinking for a moment taping the quill absentmindedly sending bits of ink onto his tan pants. Before adding to his question. "We should probably send two groups one for supplies the others to gain any information on the ..." he still wasn't sure what to call the rouge group. They still knew so little about what happened to them. If the actions were forced upon them or volentary or something more sinister. Shaking his head a bit before leaning back against onyx. "More info on our targets without causing panic. " they would need to be careful how they handled this. On one hand they had to get info on the other they couldn't cause hysteria in the towns who hadn't heard about the raids. Glancing at the map he followed a line with his finger stopping at the spot he marked 6 miles south west of there current location. Ramren, a fairly decent sized plains nuetral town. 6 miles south from there would bring them into faolain territory. "We will be in your territory in a few days. " Sorren said glancing up at Michael and his beast. Their healer Eva most likely would be pleased at this as well. Herbs were easier to find in familiar territory. His own home was drifting farther and farther behind them as they traveled. His eyes glanced west for a moment towards the Kaa village behind the erren mountains. Hoping the raiders stayed far from his late wife's home. They had already attacked his own. "I'm going to send one of our smaller flyers to scout. Tukaii or onyx can you ask Pygmy to do this. He can bring someone with him for backup if he needs. Maybe calamity". He closed the map and rolled them back into his bag. Edited at July 24, 2022 04:59 PM by Ravensrun

The sun behind her gave her that glow, her blue eyes sparkling. Orange, blue, green, and browns are all beautiful colors covering the landscape. Shaking her head she sits down on the ground arms now wrapped around her knees though her gaze still remained where it was+ . "Adventures, killing, and destruction what more can a girl ask for in a world like this" . +Her voice rang out though it was only a whisper before she closes her eyes enjoying the wind that blew across her face. Listening to the distant voices of some of the others she release a sigh+ . Reaching her hands behind her head she begins to tie her hair in a braid before she starts to hum a soft meoldy+ . "May the oceans cross upon your journey and may I see what truly lies beyond the deep horizon~" . +Singing the song her mother once sang to her mind clears a soft smile slowly crawling onto her face as she finishes with her hair and leans back onto her hands. Onyx || Fire Dragon || Male || Lead Seeker Beast || 149 Years || Human: Sorren || M: Jasmine, Calamity (Ref), Kavik (Ref), Lily (Ref), Pygmy (Ref), Michael, Tukaii, Sorren Another voice breaks his focus. The dragon hums in response, angling his head down in order to get a better look for the speaker. Jasmine – the hellhound healer of the group – stood in front of his coiled body. Her forest green eyes stared at his mercury orbs with gentle concern for reasons unknown to him. However, he had a good enough guess, based on her title alone. A smile graces his face as he leans down slightly to properly address her. “I am quite fine, thank you. Go ahead and take whatever meat is left on the deer, now that Sorren is finished with his work. If there’s nothing left, you can have my portion.” With that said, the brown-spotted hellhound makes her way over to Calamity and Kavik. Onyx watches her trot away before turning back to observe the camp. Lily – the only other dragon in the group – had just awoken, emitting a loud roar as she yawned. If not for his own roaring yawn, he would have scolded the younger dragon for being so loud. Though, he chose not to be a hypocrite. Pygmy sat in front of Calamity and Kavik, patiently waiting for their conversation to conclude. He was unsure of the little one’s reasoning, but he wouldn’t doubt that it was simply to make a friend. A call from Sorren concerning a meeting with the seconds catches his attention. The beast turned to his bonded, looming over him as he unwrapped his coils and slithered forth – choosing not to use his wings to travel such a trivial distance. Michael and Tukaii make their way over at the shout as well. He only just caught the concrete eyed-male glancing at him on his way over, but decided to ignore it. The white haired Djali proceeded to draw a rough map of the area, questioning the two seconds on what supplies the group needed. Now, Onyx is not known for his attention, nor his intelligence. However, when it comes to taking care of others, he will use a tiny bit of brain power for their benefit. After listening to the input from both humans about their standing on supplies, the dragon lowers his long neck to Sorren’s side and states his suggestion. “While I am sure that each member can find their own items, maybe it would be best for all of us to look out for the rarer items some of our members’ needs?” The discussion continues following his words, coming to the conclusion that scouting parties needed to be made. Pygmy was their first choice, alongside Calamity – if the amphithere wished. A request from Sorren to talk with the feathered snake is made, leaving the choice of who would confront him up to the two beasts. Taking it upon himself, the dragon calls for the capri feathered being as well as the mighty hellhound to discuss their newly made plans.
