SCENE SETTING | Mentions: Hop There was a sweet scent to the east, which Hop was the only one to have noticed.
Leaper | Warclaw | Mentions: Blizzard, Hop, Bog, Aspen
Leaper cocked his head, curious. "I've never heard of a buck digging before. Here, the excavators do it." As Aspen approached, Leaper dipped his head in respect - if anything happened to Frost, she'd be his direct superior. "Hello, Aspen." As he spoke, his ears perked, and he noticed the winds weren't laying them as flat as they had been a few hours earlier. "Seems like the storm's letting up - good news, especially for you."

Hop & Bog / Patrollers / Mentions: Aspen, Leaper
Bog stretched out and yawned, relieved the worst of the storm was gone. Maybe they could get a little more sleep before having to patrol. He was curious about Leaper's statement, though. Was Aspen getting sick?
Hop's little nose began twitching. He stood up, a little wobbly on his tired back leg. "I smell something." He commented. "Sweet. Edible."

Blizzard l Male l Denizen l M: Leaper, Aspen . Blizzard dearly hoped that maybe he coyld sleep in the burrow tommorrow, he didnt think sleeping outside was much fun. "Well, I ave had to be on my own, but maybe now I can learn to do more." His ears perked as Aspen mentioned a patrol. He dipped his head in respect, "May I come too?" He asked Aspen.

Leaper | Warclaw | Mentions: Blizzard, Hop, Bog, Aspen
"Huh, really?" Leaper asked, standing up on his hind paws. "Well, Hop, now that you mention it..." There was a subtle aroma on the breeze, but Leaper couldn't place what it was. At Blizzard's words, the chimera's black-tipped ears twitched, but he stayed silent, washing his face with red-and-brown paws. While the safety of the warren was nice, he always enjoyed new scenery. Maybe that scent is some roots, he hoped quietly.

Aspen l Patrol leader, Rival l Mentions: Blizzard, hop, bog, frost "Uh... Sure" Aspen said "But you will have to ask Frost first" Aspen blinked and twitched her ears it was unusual for non patrolling rabbits to go on a patrol. Hop & Bog / Patrollers / Mentions: Aspen, Blizzard
Bog felt a touch of indignation at the thought of a complete stranger joining them on patrol. Completely untrained, likely to race back to the warren with a fox on their tail. But Hop lifted his ears.
"You know the area better than us, don't you?" Hop asked Blizzard, following him a few paces. "I mean, we haven't been here long. We don't know where the food or predators are."

Blizzard l Male l Denizen l M: Hop . Blizzard turned surprised. "Of course," he said, "I've been here all my life." He started thinking. "Well," he started, "there are some fox dens near here. But they don't usually hunt here unless they are desperate. There is a bobcat, but I don't know where their den is unlike the foxes. There is a short flat and open area where the best food is, but I would avoid that around this time of year. I usually go for the foothills because of the small shoots that pop up by the rocks." He stopped. "I'll teach you as we go along," he looked at Aspen, "as long as I can join you."

Leaper | Warclaw | Mentions: Blizzard, Hop, Bog, Aspen
Fox dens? Leaper's ears lowered worriedly. As much as he'd like to see his surroundings, he figured he'd wait until the haulers were called. As a Warclaw, he was - thankfully - exempt from the risks patrollers ran. "Best of luck," he murmured. As he spoke, Leaper cleaned mud from the underside of his paw. It was pleasant out, but roaming around and risking foxes...
