Moon|1.3|Hauler|M: Flurry, Oat, Frost, Splash A light rain poured upon Moon's grey fur. The doe had been awake for so long, not certain if she slept at all. She had been watching and wondering what would they do if they were attacked in the middle of the night? Who would be up then to warn them? Thoughts piled on the young doe's mind, time passing rather quickly. By the time she realized that she zoned off, many of the others had awoken. Standing at an average size, Moon quickly shook water from her coat. She quickly scanned the area looking for anything wrong. She sat on her hind legs, wiping her paws from the mud that had gathered. Once finished, she stretched, walking around the warren. Her legs were quite stiff and they needed to be loosened up before she went to collect roots for the warren. The light rained calmed the doe, hoping it would last a bit longer. She took a deep breath looking towards her mother and Oat who sat in front of the Warchief and his daughter, Splash. There were little scratches, it seemed, lying next to the does. Moon wondered what it was but quickly lost interest as she headed towards a small hole in the ground, holding a small patch of water. Moon took a few drinks and left it for the others. She then sat not too far from her mother and watched the warchief and the excavators, wondering what was going on. Frost | Warchief | Mentions: Oat, Flurry, Splash, Moon Frost paused a moment, sleep still addling his brain. As he opened his mouth to speak, he felt a pressure against his pale flank, and the sound of a familiar voice at his large ear. "Good morning, Splash," he echoed, pressing his forehead against the black patch on his daughter's fur. At the rumble from the young doe's stomach, the Warchief's ears perked, and he looked at her. "You should get something to eat; I think there's grass close by," he said, a note of concern in his voice. It wouldn't do for her to run off, not before they knew much about the local environment. After that, the buck turned to the two - no, three now - older does, nodding in respect to Moon as she approached. Frost could see that Oat and Flurry were both wet from the rain he could feel on his own fur; no doubt they wanted to get underground as badly as he did. Frost looked at the scrapes etched into the ground by the does' paws, pleased and wondering curiously how long it had taken them. "Good morning," he added, then asked, "It's good that you've already started. Is this where the entrance to the warren will be?"
Leaper | Warclaw | Mentions: Aspen, Scruff, Open! As Leaper finished cleaning himself, he glanced around again. Most of the warren was awake now, it seemed. The little buck sniffed again, enjoying the sense of being around his fellow rabbits - but, oh, what was that? The scent of some delicious growing thing reached Leaper's nose. The black leather at the end of his muzzle twitched as he tried to work out where it was coming from. There, perhaps? As he hopped over, he passed Scruff, who seemed to also be cleaning himself. Like Leaper, the lighter buck had a thick coat; it was beneficial in this weather, or so Leaper believed. The other rabbits seemed to be colder than he felt. Finally, the source of the scent! Leaper recognised the graceful stem of a young sunflower, leaves shining in the dawn light. Next to it was Aspen, who seemed to be asleep. Leaper wondered; could he eat the plant without waking her, or leaving a trace that it had been he who had done so? It looked delicious, but he didn't want to get in trouble. The buck stood there in a display of indecisiveness, ears flicking away the raindrops as he thought.

Oat / Excavator / Mentions: Frost, Flurry Oat pinned her small ears to the sides of her large head, trying to keep the rain out. "Er, yes, Warchief, we are digging scrapes to test where the earth is most dependable." The rain was good for one thing, at least, it let them know where water gathered so they could better avoid flooding in the future. A ripple ran through her coat from brown ear tips to white tail at the very thought. She feared nothing more, not even predators or the Skinless.

Splash | Yearling | Mentions: Frost, Open! Splash looked at Frost and nodded she was happy that she could find some food. Splash sniffed the air for any scent of food besides grass- ́Nothing maybe I will just find a nice patch of grass.´ Splash hopped over to a nice area where a patch of grass lay. She bent over and sniffed the delicious-looking grass, it was soggy but the young doe could eat anything right now. Splash decided she would eat the soggy grass so she sat down and took a mouthful. She wondered how long it would take the excavators to dig out a den so the rabbits can get out of the rain before one of them gets sick. Without thinking, she took another mouthful of grass and was happy. At least it was peaceful and quiet for now it never stays peaceful for long predators usually stalk around hunting for food. Once Splash had finished her helping of grass she thought her father could use some food the last time he ate was yesterday. She wiggled her tail and grabbed some grass, she hopped over to her father and dropped the pile of grass next to him. ¨Here father eats some grass.¨ Splash squeaked before turning tail and hopping off. A small puddle had formed where she originally woke up from, it was not much but it would work for now. The young doe drank from the puddle before sitting down to groom herself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Scruff | Denizen | Mentions: Open! Scruff noticed Leaper, a warclaw, passing by probably looking for food or watching out for predators. Scruff yawned. there was not much to do when you are a denizen so it can get kinda boring at times. The small male decided he would just continue watching the rain, it is very fascinating at least that is what he thinks. Drip. Drip. Drip. Rain plops onto a small stone. Scruff's nose twitches as he watches. He should his fur droplets of water falling from his coat. Scruff did not mind being wet as long as he stays well and does not get sick.

Aspen. Patrol leader. Rival. Mentions: excavaters Aspen walked around the clearing not enjoying his her thick fur caught and held the rain more then the other rabbits making her cold. She wondered when the excavaters to carve out a big enough area so at least some of them could get dry. Aspen shook herself and nodded to the excavaters "hi" she said "how's the new warren going?" Flurry|3.4|Excavator|M: Oat, Moon, Frost, Splash, Aspen Flurry looked towards her daughter as she hopped past, ears turning back towards the warchief as he spoke to his daughter. As she hopped a off to get some grass, Frost spoke. Oat answered almost immediately, Flurry nodding as to agree with her. The brown doe then listened to the breeze, blowing the trees above. Flurry turned back to see another fellow rabbit, the patrol leader, Aspen. Flurry shook droplets off her fur and replied to the question. "Well....it's going. We are looking to find a dependable spot, like Oat said, then we'll start digging the warren out." The doe took a breath, looking around at the other rabbits who were cold and hungry. She knew that great things take time and to her, this warren was one of the best things to happen to her. It would take time. She shook her ears, scraping at a spot in the ground next to her.

Hop & Bog / Patrollers / mentions: Aspen, excavators, Frost, whoever else is in the group there, lol Bog, his muddy paws slipping on the wet grass, grumbling and stiff from sleeping out in the open, made his slow way over to the knot of rabbits. He paused occassionally to nibble on lifeless and sopping grass just to fill the grumbling hole where his belly should be, but clearly got no satisfaction. He absolutely loathed the stuff.
Hop followed in Bog's shadow, nose and ears twitching almost constantly. He disliked being out in the open. His light brown eyes dimmed in disappointment when he saw how little work had been done on the burrow. The buck had no idea how long it took to dig, or any of the measures that needed to be taken to make sure the dirt wouldn't crumble over their heads.
Oat hunched her shoulders, uneasy in such a large group.

Aspen saw hop and bog near the group "Hop! Bog! Orver here!" She called " were patrolling! " even though aspen knew they would get even wetter she still called them orver it would be something for them to do and the warren was tired of eating bland grass.

Moon|1.3|Hauler|M: Aspen, Hop, Bog, Flurry, Oat Moon raised her ears as Aspen, the lead patroller, called her patrollers. Moon bounced up, bringing attention to her. With ears folding against her head, she laughed nervously, watching the other's attention fade away. Moon was ecstatic for them to patrol. The sooner they get back, the sooner she would get to collect some food. Another reason was her crush for the warclaw, Leaper. She didn't admit it and no one else knew but she liked spending time with him. Moon laid back down her nose twitching quiet fast, excited to collect food.
