/Killjoy/M/Alpha/Eastern/M:River/ Killjoy felt Rivers soft breath breeze through the fur on his ear. His head tilted slightly downwards towards the ground, both ears perked up, there seeming to be a new light in his eyes. His message, more like awful rambling went through! He hoped. His eyes lifted to hers, his tail now violently thumping on the ground. His heart felt that it was going to fly out of his chest, his brain turned into mush. He had to take a deep breath to try and calm his heart. "Yeah... I am. That would have been a nice way the phrase it." He chuckled at himself before rubbing his head on Rivers cheek. "It would make me the happiest wolf if you were at my side." He whispered into her fur, his eyes closed happily as he let her familiar scent drift through his nose.

|Temari/F-3years| Guard/Stays Unite| Mentions: Quilo| . She didn't initally realize just how close Quilo had come to her, however as he licked her ear Temari stiffened. Her eyes growing wider as her thoughts were pulled back to the present, turning her head slightly to look at the male. . Her ears twitched as she relaxed listening to him as he reasured her, a soft smile forming as her heart swelled. Tears stung her eyes yet they were not of sadness, but of happiness. . "Thank you, that means alot to hear" Temari grinned, turning her head to him and burrying her face in his fur. Her tail brushing the dirt as it waved behind her, it meant the world to know this was her home now. . That they wouldn't need to run anymore, and had a family she and her brother could depend on. "I'll hold you to that promise" she voiced, chuckling softly.

Shalah | F | Medic | SUP | M: Kenai, Temari(ind) Shalah's ears twitched as the male said he didn't know much about herbs. At his whisper, she looked towards him before replying quietly, "It is my job to observe. That's how I know if my packmates are injured." At his explanation, Shalah blinked calmly at him. "There is still time to heal." She said gently, dipping her head to smell the goldenrod again. She pulled out her tiny stash before placing it in front of Kenai.
"Smell that and smell this," Shalah said, pulling out a bit of marigold as well. Once he took a whiff of each, she replaced them into her piles before standing up. "I will take a look at your sister after we collect the needed herbs. I will need assistance to gather though, if you would join me." She said, blinking gently at him.

Frost | M | Fox | SFP | M: Bluu, Zera Frost tilted his head at the questions about Shadow before saying, "Cougars. Bobcats. Moose. Elk." He paused before saying quietly, his eyes losing its cheer for a moment, "Jaguars." It quickly came back as he shook out his pelt and listened to her next statement. He grinned slyly, lifting his head to meet Bluu's, "Yes, I think we will be just fine." His eyes were curious but also cold. Being around foxes again felt nice. Especially without the mushiness of romance, blargh.
He must have zoned out because suddenly, he heard Zera whisper at him. Turning, he watched her prod her sister's side, earning a couple of growls. When she pranced back to him with a cheerful smirk, he couldn't help but smirk back. "All I will say is please watch out for traps. I have many up so if you see a vine just hanging there, I suggest you don't touch it." Frost said before climbing up into the tree. "Coming Bluu?" He called down. He waited a moment for an answer before nodding to Zera, "Off we go!"
He jumped to another branch, bounding from tree to tree as he headed for the river. Frost tilted his head up towards the sun, noting that it was sunhigh. How lovely. He got to the edge of the river in time to see the first white flakes to start their journey to the ground. Winter was almost upon them completely. Frost flicked his tail, staying put before sighing, his eyes looking towards the mountains. As much as he hated to admit it, he was missing the pack. Flame, Shadow, even his sister Icicle. And he supposed, Anya and her little one as well.
Frost flicked an ear, feeling the breeze that promised more snow before dropping to the ground. He made his way over to a relatively medium sized den before sitting down at the entrance. "I suggest getting comfy before the snow comes. The river is still prime with fish and if you prefer, there are rabbits through this area." Frost said, his words mainly in Bluu's direction. She seemed to be the hunter. He then turned to lock eyes with both of the females. "A friend of mine lives on the other side of the river. She can be a bit protective of her den site so I suggest you stay on this side of the river. A dog pack lives farther downstream but they will mainly leave you alone if you leave them alone." He said, giving his warnings before sweeping his tail. "If you require my assistance, give me a scream. I have my own sister to get back to, no idea what sort of trouble she's getting into right now." He said, rolling his eyes before waiting for their responses.

Silver | F | Member | SFP | M: Nyein Silver blinked at the female before dipping her head. "If you are just wandering, I can escort you to the edge of the pack territory. Unfortunately, I cannot let you wander around the territory, especially with winter on its way." Silver said, her voice calm before she paused. She flicked an ear before saying gently, "Unless...you do not want to leave?"
She said this in a calm manner although she was unsure how the female would react. After a moment, she got up before padding towards the camp. She paused, turning to look back. Silver twitched an ear before saying, "You can leave if you want to. I am not part of this pack but they took my pack in with care. I'm sure they would do the same with you." She waited before turning to continue towards the camp. If the female did leave, she would alert Alpha Night on the loner and leave it up to him on what to do.

Nyein || F || Loner || Mentions: Silver Nyein's ears flattened slightly at the words. Did the female really think they'd let her stay? Maybe she would get what she hoped for, a home of sorts, a shelter.. Food. She wanted to leave but her paws made her follow the she-wolf, slowly, but she still followed. She started to call out to the wolf, but stopped what she was saying, she kept going forward slowly, falling behind the female quite a bit. What was she doing? She already broke her vow and it had been five minutes. But her stomach growled, and this could be the best way to get food, but she knew she had to stop, and with that she made her legs stop going forward. Shaking her head she turned, walking away. A cold breeze brushed her face, and she wanted to turn back. But she didnt, and after walking for a little bit, she found a spot to shelter her from the wind for a little bit. She was still quite near the pack, but it would be fine for now. Edited at August 26, 2023 12:06 PM by Red Ash

Shadow | M | Alpha | SFP | M: Anya, Bri(ind), Sundown, Hunting Patrol(ind) Flame | F | Elder | SFP | M: Anya & Bri, Sundown Flame tilted her head as Sundown asked Anya a few questions, a faint smile on her face. She flicked an ear as Anya answered, stumbling a bit over her words. At Sundown's question, she offered a gentle smile, tilting her head in his direction. At his second question, her ears flicked back, flattening for a moment before perking up again. Ah yes, her vision. She felt Anya reach out to nuzzle her before offering a small smile to both of them.
"I do not think my vision could have been helped," Flame started, blinking her eyes slowly. "I was losing my sense of vision because of old age before a predator took the piece I had left. Now, while there wasn't anything that could be done to restore my vision, there was a herb that soothed my eyes so they didn't hurt. I believe it was called fennel." She said before sighing, "Sometimes hon, you can't help every wolf. Especially when it comes to sight. The best thing you can do is make sure they are not in pain and calm."
~~~|||~~~
Shadow made it down to the river, Icicle riding on his back in silence. He knew she hadn't been along when it had happened but she had seen the change in him afterwards. He slipped into the cool water, swimming strongly before hearing the small fox whisper into his ear. "Winter is here." He pulled himself out of the water to look towards the sky. Sure enough, little white flakes were flurrying down towards him. Winter was here. Fall was over.
Shadow picked up the pace, going into a fast sprint towards the camp. His breath came out in quick fast breaths as he weaved through the trees. The weight on his back was no more as Icicle stretched her legs, jumping from tree to tree. As he got to the training path, Icicle hopped back onto his back for the ride in. His tail swayed slightly as he slowed into a steady lope.
He padded into the clearing as he saw Night's tail disappear down one of the other trails. It seemed he was taking a hunting patrol out. That would be good, especially with the snow. And bigger, the better. Shadow turned, sniffing the air before his eyes scanned the dens. Flame's scent was nearby. Shadow walked to the den and peeked in, spotting Flame with Sundown. Behind the male, Shadow's eyes landed on Anya. His eyes softened slightly before he slipped past Sundown.
Icicle hopped onto the apprentice's back as Shadow sat down next to Anya and her pup. "Glad to see you still in camp," Shadow said quietly before dipping his head to meet her eyes. "Are you ready for your training session?" He asked gently.
River | F | Lead Hunter | Raven | M: Killjoy River closed her eyes as Killjoy nuzzled her, whispering into her fur. Night would understand. If he didn't, she would make him understand. River nuzzled Killjoy, breathing in his scent before pulling back. "The happiest wolf in the world huh?" She said with a giggle before licking his nose. "The answer is yes," she said, looking into his eyes. River reached up to lick his ears before pulling away, a slight frown on her face.
"Now. . .how are you going to tell your pack? And how am I. . ." River asked before trailing off with a wince, "Going to tell Alpha Night?" She chuckled nervously before grinning at him, "I think Xola suspects though." She giggled before looking out of the den. "Would your pack. . .accept me?" She asked quietly, her face turning into a concerned and nervous expression.
Hondo l Male l Beta l Eastern l M: Xola . Hondo was sleeping peacefully, his breathing in sync with the rise and fall of his chest. He felt the slight mudge of a paw to his face, and his eyes fluttered open. He saw the dark shape of another wolf standing over him. The smell of prey flooded his nostrils, but he could make out the scent of Xola, standing over him. He gave a slight yawn, before looking in her eyes. "Thank you Xola." He said in a polite manner, biting into his prey, the rich taste of blood and meat filling hus mouth. He listened while he chewed, then said, "No I dont need anything else." He looked down at his paw, he couldnt feel the pain anymore, and ut looked like it was healing well. He then looked towards the mouth of the den, dark clouds swirled above and small flurries of pure white snow fell from the sky. Worry filled gus gut. He had to make sure they were okay. He rose slowly to his paws. "I'm taking up to much space anyway, and I have to do my duties, if I need you, I'll come back." With that, he started making his way to the mouth of the den, getting colder by the second.
Arashi | F | Hunter | Raven | M: Night, Shiva and the group(ind) Arashi dipped her head slightly with a small smile on her muzzle. It had been a while since she killed anything big so she couldn't help but get excited. You would never know though, because as soon as the small had come, it was gone again. "Thank you." She said, her face was back to its normal emotionless expression as the female turned away from the group and followed after Shiva. She honestly didn't know much about the other hunters who were behind her but she honestly dosent really care. She did however remember seeing Shiva around just because the female has a unusual almost all white coat. . Arashi picked up a trot, quickly catching up with Shiva while they headed down the trail that led to the medic's trail. As they stayed on that same trail instead of going onto the medic's trail, Arashi took a deep breath. She was surprised at how strong the snow's scent was. Moments later, snow started falling from the sky and onto the two female's. Arashi looked into the sky for a breif second before focusing back on her scouting mission. "Fall has fallen away." She mumbled to Shiva as she scanned the horizon for anything alive that would make a good meal. "Should we split up a bit or stay together like this?" Arashi asked Shiva a second later, her eyes still trained on the horizon.
