Yéil Khyda | aka Raven | F | Musher | Tundra's Paw | M: Her dogs(dir), The other teams/mushers(ind) Raven opened her blurry eyes with a yawn as her alarm went off. She pulled herself up before hitting the off button. No thoughts entered her mind until she took a look at her room and remembered where she was. It was race time. Today would be the beginning. Raven swung her legs off the bed and headed for the showers. Once she had finished and was fully awake, she moved to get dressed. She struggled briefly with her long sleeve shirt and her leggings before pulling her bib on. Soon after that, she put on her light jacket before putting on her team's colors. Her suit always made her smile. Despite her favorite color being a light blue, the white matched it nicely.
Shaking her thoughts out of fashion styles, she quickly finished dressing, pulling on her jacket. Raven exited the room, leaving it in the same condition as when she first entered. Tucking her hair into her hat, she headed out to her sled where she straightened out the gag line. Grabbing the harnesses, she made her way to the barn. Thankfully being the first one there, she let out a sharp whistle to get her team together. She opened the door, instantly putting her hand up. They had done this time and time again so she wasn't worried that any of the dogs would stray.
Calling to all the dogs first, she called gently, "Here. Come. Here." She repeated this as she stepped out of the stall. Walking slowly out of the barn to make sure all the dogs were with her, she came to the sled before making a fist. "Sit." She said clicking her tongue. She repeated the gesture until she had all of their attention and obedience. Once it was alright, she issued the next command. "Stay. Stay." She said before taking a couple steps back. She grabbed her first harness, bringing it out in front of her before calling to her first wheeler. "Nero, come here boy."

Arthur | M | Tundra's Paw team | 2 years old | M: The rest of the team (dir) & the other teams (ind) Arthur had woken up earlier than most of the other dogs. Unlike the rest of the team, he was more worried about the weather then the actual race itself. But at the same time, a sense of excitement filled his body. He sat patiently, waiting for the others to wake up. Once they all got up, Arthur waited for their musher to come. He yawned as he got up, wondering what the other teams were doing. Finally, after some time waiting, their musher came. As she took them out, Arthur looked at the slushy ground beneath him with distaste. Even as a husky who should be used to different kinds of weather, Arthur was sometimes picky on what he walked on. But he knew this was the least of his concerns as he eventually stepped out of the barn, follwing the others. He sat down as his musher said the command. He watched as she called Nero's name. He moved out of the way to back of the group. His fur blending in a bit just as he wished.

Yéil Khyda | aka Raven | F | Musher | Tundra's Paw | M: Her dogs(dir) Raven waited until Nero came over before slipping the harness over his head, letting him step into it. Once she was sure it was secure, she led him over to the sled where she pulled out his small boot bag. Raven pulled out his booties, one at a time before holding out a hand for him to put his paw in. Strapping the bootie on comfortably and securely, she did the same for the rest of his paws. Once finished, she let him get up before leading him over to the gag line where she hooked him into place. When she was sure he was secure, she gave him a scratch behind his ears before heading back to the sled.
Grabbing the next harness, she turned back to her dogs, looking for her little husky mix. Raven clicked her tongue, calling to her, "Here Estelle!" She waited for the female to come over before placing out the harness for her to get into.
