Poking his head out of the den and seeing his leader looking worried, Chestnut decided to try to calm Crimson down. He took a breath and approached the leader.

"Arrow and Saki went out hunting. They should be safer since they are teaming up", said Chestnut calmly. After a few minutes he continued, "there is something else"

She saw the red fox bound out of his den and filled her in. "Thank you, and go ahead I'm here to help and guide" She said while her ears twitched from the sound of the forest.

Chestnut had to think carefully because on one paw there are sign of a outsider and on the other paw there was Candy. As angry as he was however he couldn't bring himself to turn the grey fox in.

"There have been signs out a outsider just outside our territory border. A lone fox from what I can tell. They were hard to track", explained Chestnut carefully.

On one hand lone foxes do tend to try to challenge the leadership of either the leader or second in command but they could be a harmless trader.

Nori smiles. "Oh, that was Nightshade. She is a trader near out desert border. She is nice. I bought some berries from her. They were very good." She says, making sure not to mention how she did not feel well after.

Turning his head to look at the female vixen at those words. The words hit him that his skulkmate had made a deal with a trader.

"Nightshade? What did she look like? What did she want in return?", asked Chestnut shocked at what Nori had done.

"She is a red fox. She took a squirrel I hunted for the berries. She was very nice." Nori says. She smiles and licks her lips.

"Nori the fox you mentioned. What color was her fur and will she be back?", asked Chestnut now bristling while trying to calm down and hoped Crimson didn't notice his growing fear as he asked the questions.

He refused to say her name no matter what. In his mind traders are either trustworthy or not trustworthy. He wasn't sure about farmers.

Nori thought for a moment. "Grey and brown. With something on her neck. I could not see, but maybe a scar? Why?" She asks. Tilting her head, studying the male.

Chestnut felt his heart sink. Brown and white fur with a scar? He silently let out a breath and stepped back feeling uneasy now. Oh how the past catches up so he relaxed as he didn't want his skulk to think of anything.

"It's probaly nothing", dismissed Chestnut keeping the fear out of his voice, "excuse me Crimson and Nori but I need to sleep"

He turned and went into his den then curled up and tried to sleep.

She got out from where she was hidden and went off in search of berries or if she was deperate enough seaweed, fish and voles. Maybe Minerva would like some prey but first she had to get some. She'll try to get some fish and voles for Minerva.

She watched Noah walk away and let out a small sigh of relief; she was always somewhat wary around him and Blaze. However, with the eagles around, he shouldn't wander off alone; thus, Sable chose to shadow him in case he required assistance. This wasn't an indication of affection, after all, any member of the skulk would risk their pelt to protect their leader from an eagle... Right? Keeping close to the ground, she followed him quietly from a distance, noting that he didn't seem to be straying too far. She smelt her favorite treat, Cacti Fruit nearby. Oh, they were so delicious and juicy and with the hot and humid weather that was the daily life in the desert they were one of the few things she looked forward too at anytime.
