"Nothing. Its nothing. Anyways. Last I checked the cops were on my ass so I suggest we all get out of here soon." He started to smoke again before his eyes widened in shock. He gripped his chest as his breathing went hay wire for a split second. The smoke disappearing almost immediately. He started coughing hysterically. "dammit." Atri looked at the other two and turned away, still coughing slightly. Atri had reached his limit. |

"Yeah, join the party." Callio said sarcastically. They'd be a hell of a lot easier to avoid if I could just turn into a human. Or a dog, or a cat or something. His hope for this guy using his powers in any beneficial way was waning.
It was funny, he had hoped against hope to run into a traveling group that first night alone - someone who would take him in and protect him. But no one could look out for him as well as he could, and that was a fact. No group of misfits could survive, hardly able to look out for themselves let alone each other. His expression hardened and he turned his back on the two.
We do what we can to survive, don't we?
(( Mine too but I'll probably decide later. He may get to a point where he is starving or severely hurt and has to turn to the group for help, and then he'll stick around out of obligation (and eventually loyalty.) )) |

Atri pushed through the dense undergrowth of the woods, his breathing slightly ragged, raspy as if he'd just run laps around a field.. He closed his eyes thinking back to his old school.. his friends.. the teachers.. his family.. he exhaled slowly, the pain in his chest slowly ebbing away. He leaned against a tree for a second, his eyes watery as he pushed the thoughts away. |

He glanced back for a moment, weighing his options. He needed to eat, and soon. He knew it wouldn't be long before he was out of energy stores. Although he did have faith in his own abilities to hunt, if he kept wasting venom on missed shots his efforts might be in vain. And they might have supplies... or money. Perhaps even access to a human town or city. He saw Atri push his way through the undergrowth, glimpsing tears in his eyes. It had only just occured to him that the boy's life had probably been turned on its head not long ago. Perhaps he'd lived his whole life as a human, lying to appear normal, only to be rejected at a moment's notice. He followed a bit behind him. He'd die if he stayed out here alone, Callio had no doubt. "Hey." His voice was firm but the tense, sarcastic edge had softened. "You'd better get a move-on. Or get left behind."
He'd stay for now, mooch off of them until it no longer suited him, and then leave. Easy as that. He then followed after Mika, willing to at least see where this went. |

He turned to Mika. Raising his hand at her again, his eyes holding a newfound anger and sadness. He outstretched his fingers, the skin along his hand and arm glistening like metal again. He moved slightly towards her before his expression became glazed over. His eyes became dull as he descended to the ground. |

She quickley grew ferns under him to cussion his fall. He fell onto them with a thud. She walked over, and nelt beside him not sure what to do. She gave him a nudge with her hands. |
