Starfire/FH Alpha/M:Fae, Stryker

Starfire left Fae to find a camp, dipping his head as he passed her. He then took off to find Stryker.

Stryker looked up and saw Starfire circling above him. First Void, now Starfire to? Was he really such a big deal? Stryker called out to Starfire and signalled he was heading back to camp and didn't need to worry about him.

Starfire saw Stryker signal him before flying down and landing beside him. Walking next to Stryker, he asked, “What do you think about that Hunter boy? He seemed like he trusted you or something.”

"You mean Night?" asked Stryker. "I've fought alongside him before, we have to trust each other to an extent I guess. I also was an instructor sometimes when I wasn't needed as a soldier. I trained multiple squadrons, I think he was probably in a few of them." explained Stryker. "He's a good kid, and a good soldier too. Although I am glad he can think for himself and that the Hunters haven't got too much of a hold on him yet."

Starfire/FH Alpha/M:Stryker, Night

”That’s good for us I guess. Except for the fact that first he tried to hunt us and then he helped us out. It’s like he can’t make up his mind.” Starfire shook his head. Looking at Stryker and his half-shift. “Do you want a lesson on how to control your shift? While we are alone that is.”

"Sure," said Stryker, glancing at his wings and claws. "It would be handy controlling these instead of them just coming out randomly." Stryker sheathed his claws and watched them retract saying, " I can control my claws but my wings are more stubborn, they do retract when I sleep though."

Starfire/FH Alpha/M:Stryker

Starfire sat down, watching Stryker before saying, “Think. Watch. Do. Think about what you want to do and put it into your mind. Watch it in your mind to know what it would look like. Let it do itself. With practice, this should get easier until it’s Think and Do. Now try it.”

Stryker nodded at Starfire, what he said did make sense so why not give it a go? Stryker wondered what he wanted to do, he looked as his wings, being able to control those seemed like a good start. He thought about retracting his wings, watched himself do it, and tried it. To his surprise the wings finally retracted when he wanted them to. He repeated the process, and managed to control when they came out and when they were hidden. He smiled, it was a start. Stryker thought about what to try next. He noticed the shifters seemed to favour the forms of winged wolves. He decided he may as well give it a go. He thought about it, watched himself do it, and tried it. He didn't turn into a winged wolf. Instead he turned into his usual form, with his normal body, wings, and claws. The only difference was his hair perked up a little like ears and he noticed his canine teeth grew larger. He tried again and got the same result: messed up hair and sharp teeth. It looked like he couldn't ditch his human body, he thought it kinda made sense because he was only half shifter. At least the teeth could come in handy.
