"Why?" Seya had said. Faith was sortof glad that she hadn't heard the legends that she herself had. The terrible rumors that came out. She had not believed it until she had seen it. A pure black wolf standing over a dead grizzly bear, blood staining his fur. Letting out a shudder, she explained as best as she could, "Danger Wolf, Sly Foxes, Death Lays There."

Faith cocked her head at Seya before seeing the sky. It was getting lighter. Day was coming. She turned her head back towards Seya, "Go Must I, Day Comes. Sleep I Do Now. Hollow Here." She pointed with a wing up at a hollow in a nice Maple tree. Daytime, she must sleep. Dawn was coming soon. Flying up to the hollow, she looked back at the wolf before nodding twice. She then got comfy in her burrow and fell promptly to sleep.

Shadow trotted down to the river. His full territory lay on the other side. The Fire Shadow as the foxes took to naming it. And it lived up to it's name too. After a burning wildfire, it became a shadow forest. No one dared enter for how intimidating it looked. He simply made sure that even if they did, they might not come back alive. Dipping into the river, he started swimming to the otherside.

He was surrounded by the snakes, all of them looking at him, thier forked tongues twitching. Calm, Silverback told himself. His muscles tensed, watching the vipers. They all stared at him back. That fox will never get the best of me, he thought. But how will he escape this tight trap? Silverback looked at the snake right in front of him. He watched the sunlight rippled its shiny green scales. It's time to be bold now, the coyote told himself. He bared his teeth again, growling. He heard the snakes raise their heads, interested. The ones closest to him opened their fangs. Time to be bold, the coyote told himself again, and he leapt forward...

Shadow got out of the water on the other side before stretching. The burnt wood smell was still there, but it was nice to see that new trees were growing back. He could see a couple with leaves on it alraedy. It takes time but this part of the forest will regrow. He thought before hearing coughing behind him. Turning, he saw the female from earlier. Flicking his ears, he watched her for a moment...

Shadow watched the female for another moment before turning back to his forest. Flicking his ears back, Frost appeared beside him. He looked more brown than white but the seasons were changing soon. Frost started up a tree before bounding through the branches. Trotting after him, he started on the used path.

Seya inhaled a lot of air before she rushed over to Shadow and hugged him before she could stop herself. "I'm so glad you're okay!" She said and started crying, both from the smell around her and her own emotions. Whimpering, she tried stopping her tears.

Shadow was simply floored. Having that this never happened before, he just stood there. Blinking, he looked down at her before choosing his words carefully, "Why wouldn't I be okay?" He reminded himself to send Icicle, Faith's way so she could tell her story.
