In the cave with the pool(he had gestured Fae to follow), Stryker was not sure whether he wanted to go first. “Fae, would you like to see what you past held?” He looked down gently at her, “we don’t have to see it unless you want me to.”

When Starfire spoke again, Fae thought she had heard it wrong. He had listened to her!

She shouldn't have doubted him.

Starfire/FH Alpha/M:Fae, Stryker

”Stryker, why don’t you leave us for a moment?” He asked, watching Fae. After the male left, he gestured for Fae to go ahead.

Fae nodded enthusiastically at the proposal, before realizing what it meant: searching a new place where they could work and take shelter in? What if she did wrong?

Starfire's call shook the thought away, for now. Fae followed, forcing herself not to stare at the... whatever it was, until they reached the clearing. She only noticed the lake when Starfire howled, and her fur rose when the water turned. She forced it flat, or at least she tried: Starfire seemed to know what he was doing, it had to be safe.

Somehow this managed to calm her down, until Starfire told them what it was. She had treaded back before he finished. She knew her past too well: she didn't want to see it again.

But of course Starfire turned at her.

Fae/FH warrior/M: Starfire

Fae was paralized, her throat dry and claws unsheathed. She would have given anything if that could be only a dream. A simple, nightmarish dream.

She wanted to tell Starfire, but in her state she could barely stay sane. And she had to.
