The howls were loud and piercing. There was no mistake from whom that came from. "Wolves are here," Silverback muttered to himself. He looked around. I am safe here, he thought. Besides, what would a few slobbery wolves going to do to him anyway. He was not going to be kicked out of his place again. The coyote wandered, exploring the nicks and corners he had not seen before. He snacked on some black berries before his nose caught up with an interesting scent. It was musty and he could tell it was from a male. But what was it? Curiosity took the best out of the coyote, and he began tracking it. A few moments later, the scent trail stopped at a patch of tall ferns and horsetails. Silverback looked up and saw the group of wolves, his eyes shrinking at the sight of the great black male in front of him.

Shadow cocked his head at her, pausing in mid lick. Putting his paw down, he said, "What else do you think I would want? Your in my territory. The bear sleuth learned that the hard way." He said, the bear sleuth coming out clipped. Licking his paw again, he got up before stretching, fangs showing. Hmm...the foxes did a pretty good job..for foxes.

The meat was sour and stale but it did well to ease his stomach. It's time for the patrol, he told himself. After the fight he had missed one of them. Now was the time to make amends. He took one last peck at the bear flesh and flew away.

Shadow huffed, "Why don't take your friend there and go." He sniffed the air scenting coyote. His eyes darted back and forth. The last coyote he had forced out tried to take him on with another one. Names names names. Oh right, they called themselves Cream and Gray. Stupid names. He smirked to himself remembering that they didn't come back afterwards. Turning his ears, he turned his head to look straight into the coyote's eyes. Eh...the foxes will take care of him before I get to lay a paw on it. He thought flicking his ears.

His tail stiffened as he looked into the wolf's eyes. Be careful now, his mind cautioned him. Silverback slowly backed away, his eyes still trained on the wolf. He felt his muscles tense. Nice job, he told himself. Nice job getting yourself in trouble...

Shadow took his eyes off the coyote, his ears still the coyote's way before looking at the female(Seya) again. "I should look strange considering I just took on three grizzlies and won. It might also be because I have blood through my fur...again." He said, watching her with intimidating eyes. Her white fur was now smooth and looked like the mountains. She should be tougher more than terrified. Welcome to forest life.

The wolf had turned his back on him and now was his chance. His chance to run away as fast as he could. No, not before I do this, he told himself. He raised one of his legs and sprayed his scent at a nearby tree. Somehow, that relieved him of the stress a little bit, telling himself that he would be the settler here. With that, Silverback, his eyes still on the wolf, bolted from the scene, spraying dirt and leaves behind him...
