Fae blinked at Starfire's order. Did he think it was easy to keep up some hundred different illusions and walking in the meanwhile?

She came back to her senses a beat too late: the situation was dire for everyone. So she stood, made up a giant copy of herself and made it roar out a call. "Retreat! All Helpers retreat!"

The copy marched ahead, Void and all the others close behind. Fae followed, walking baby steps while slowly undoing part of the previous illusions. Her head would be bursting in no time otherwise, and this without counting she should guide the copy without seeing the road.

She really hoped Starfire came back soon, with Phase.

Mary would suddenly yelp in pain (she was a wolf) and passed out.

They were too many. It would be a miracle if they all made it out alive, and this time it was very unlikely they would get to cover their tracks.

A shriek echoed ahead: a familiar bear cub had collapsed on the cage on Void's back. No, there was no way they could resist another attack, and that's what would happen if they went back to the den.

They had to go away, in a safer place. If they started packing as soon as they arrived, they could make it away before the hunters found them. Fae felt sorry for all that they could have taken from the hunters, but some gadgets weren't worth a life.

Fae would tell Starfire as soon as she saw him.

Mary lyed on the ground, looking lifeless. a dart was sticking out her fur, and she began to shift nonstop, but did not get up.

Void jumped out of a tree with a dead Hunter in her claws she dropped it and ran to the cage seeing Mary unconscious and everyone else gone she made a lightning fast decision and quickly opens the cage and Mary inside. "I need to trust you with her. If anything happens to her you will suffer in ways you can't even imagine." She said to Stryker. Void looked around sniffing. "Hmm, I can't tell if your still here Fae but if you are I would recommend getting in the cage too so I can carry you all faster." She opened the cage again and waited while keeping an eye on Stryker and Mary.

Stryker smiled in response to Void's threat, he expected nothing less from a shifter. He wasn't going to do anything to the girl anyways, to be honest, he thought she was nice enough. Who was this "Fae" and how come Void knew they were there and he didn't? Stryker decided it must be another shifter with some powers or something.

Dusk heard Mary's yelp and flew over, red feathers rippling. She shot Stryker a glare sharp as steel. (don't mind the intense hate for non-shifters) Dusk shifted to her human form, short blonde hair ruffled from constantly shifting. There was no questions asked aloud, but they were obvious enough. Who was this strange human, where did he come from, and what happened to Mary?
