How about Faye is in Shade's class?))

Faye darted through the school, she was gonna be late for class. Crap. She scurried through the corridor and halted breathlessly at the door, panting.

shade went to class, sitting down in the back with a sigh, hoping her pupils dont act up again (since she is a literal cat human her pupils can go to slits when she senses somethings wrong)

"Sorry, I'm - Late!" called out Faye, trying to catch her breath. After the teacher's frustrated retort, she glanced around, one seat left. Grinning at all the usual faces she chucked her bag under the desk and plonked down on the chair. Smiling she glanced up to see who she was sitting beside yet didn't recognise the face. (it's shade lol) "You new?" she asked cocking her head to the side. Faye glanced at the girl's eyes and suddenly, without warning an insinctual fear took over her, like a panic, (because Faye is a bird-girl and Shade is well... a cat). She couldn't explain it but she pushed it down.

shade looked at her "no, you just havent seen me till now" no one ever notices me, im just the weird goth in the back of the class... but im not goth... she continued silently. she then looked back down, at her desk

"Oh", Faye blushed embarassedly, "Well, erm... I'm Faye" her wings gave an unvoluntary flutter underneath her hoodie (they do that sometimes, when she feels certain emotions) and her face blanched a little, hoping no-one noticed

she noticed, but kept silent, she too had something tohide, her tail, currenty stuffed in her hoodie, twitched

"Erm so... your name?" Asked Faye. A sudden movement caught her attention and her eyes narrowed slightly in both curiosity and suspision

"shade"

Faye nodded, and lunged under the table to grab her school bag, she forgot to get out a pencil. As she emerged she saw a hand creeping towards Shade's hood, belonging to the boy sitting behind her, obviously about to pull the hood down
