"Are you dead?" she asked, eyes wide. Suddenly the woman looked alarmed and afronted, Ori watched as she bustled away hurridly. Oh if only they knew.

She heard what she had said, so she decided to take a small chance. She made a pebble hit the other girl in the arm.

shade smiled as jake dragged her to the starbucks. they went inside, it was relitivly empty. she went up to the counter with jake "can i get a medium iced coffee?"

Rory, being the nosey so and so she was, followed and stood behind them, waiting to order

jake stayed silent as shade got her coffee and sat down at a booth near the exit, already sipping on her coffee before he even sat down

Rory ordered a small white coffee and taking a deep breath followed them to their booth, nerves filled her bit she needed to do this, she didn't want to be alone anymore. "You're mutants" she said simply

Rory grimaced, "but she's right, isn't she" she muttered, as man walked in, saw the 'gifted' and immediately left. Her still hidden ears and tail twitched, but hopefully her hat and baggy clothes hid it. She wasn't sure she was ready to reveal herself.
