Night got out of his truck to the Captain yelling everyone’s ears off. The base was a complete mess. “What in the world happened here? We need to get this cleaned up!” “How did this happen?” Was floating around. Several dead bodies were on the ground. Night walked to the weapon supply to find that there was no more weapons. He whistled, “Everyone to Base 2! We need to get this cleaned up!” Taking over his squadron, he marched to Base 2 to see what had to be done.

That was... many things together.

Fae was literally alone in the clearing, still with grey feathers instead of fur. Seeing Void standing had her freezing on the spot, but her saying those things was a shock.

And she had lost focus again. Good thing Starfire was leaving and Phase had come back. Or maybe not, since she couldn't shake Void's words off from her mind. Did she really think so?

Fae blinked. Phase was talking to her, and actually keeping balance on two legs was proving difficult. The irony.

"Sorry, I think... I'm afraid I didn't get it." As she spoke, she had the idea to try conjure her power: there it was like an old friend, shaping itself in a cloud of mist around her wings. She should learn to fly, by the way.

...No way, she couldn't focus anymore. The lump in her throat had come back, feeling like it would shatter her small body to pieces.

"Could I ask you a question?"

Mary looked at the dead bodies and gagged. " ew," she said, running away from the mess. she shifted into a red robin anf flew over to fae. " chirp, chrip chirp!" she forgot she was a bird, so she shifted back ito a human, and looked at fae again. " hey, did you see all the dead bodies? its gross." she said, shifting into her winged wolf form ans she sat down, barkng. " what are ya dowing?" she tilted her head.

Stryker turned around for a second, thinking he heard something. What was it? A bird? He reminded himself to not get distracted and started preparing his truck, ignoring the staring bodies.

Void followed Starfire in her human form before sitting down next to him. She sat in silence for a moment before answering his question. "Seeing all those people practicing shapeshifting got me thinking about my mutation." She looked down at her feet. "It just keeps running through my head, why am I so useless compared to everyone else." She transformed back into her monster form. "I-I remember where I used to live before you found me Starfire. In my village before I realized I was a shapeshifter...w-when I first transformed all my friends and family turned against me... called my the devil." Void was getting angry and her eyes where starting to glow brighter.

Mary shifted into a raven and flew to the training arena. " time to step my game up." she shifted into a winged wolf, waiting for a mimic to pop up. she then shifted into a grizzzly bear, letting out a forest shaking roar. the jumped and riped the mimic in half, shifting back into a human. " easy." she then shifted into a winged wolf, flying back to camp. no one was there, so she sat in her hammok, falling asleep.

Stryker heard a distant roar somewhere, he couldn't be hearing things could he? He tried to start his truck but its only response was a thunking sound. Stryker knew he was already in a bad mood and the truck certainly wasn't helping. He stepped out and started walking towards the roar, he had nothing else to do anyways right?
