Nanu laughed "Who says I am a spirit? My dear, I am cursed with eternal life I had to watch my brothers die. Im not like you shifters Im a snake that takes the form of a man. And as for What affects me" Nanu said taking a heavy breath "Is watching the world go by while me and the other remaining knights watch in dissaproval." Nanu said shaking his head "So what affects me is my loss and sorrow for this world as humans and shifters destroy it with their wars." Nanu hissed aggressively "Before I became a Knight I was a king of the snakes in my period but after the gods punishment I had to suffer against their fury with burns" He hissed again showing the one side of his body with burnt scales "No matter if I shed those scars stay." He explained.

Lily listened to him, thoughts going through her mind with this new perspective. She cocked her head listening before her fire swirled around her, the invisible flames barely touching her. "Shifters of my kind want peace but humans destroy it. Sand Dwellers roam the deserts eager for battle while the Silver Roses push them back trying to keep the peace. Humans destroy territory and kill shifters thinking that we are simply another animal they need to take over. However, if there was a solution we would rise up and use it." Lily stood up, her eyes flashing purple. "Shifters of the forest protect each other. Desert shifters protect those in need. Sand Dwellers look after themselves. Every clan is different as are your knights." She walked a couple steps away before turning back to Nanu, "We all have scars, but some are more hidden than others. Secrets that hold answers that are hidden away for the right time. Peace is coming. . .soon. The war will be over finally." She picked up the last of the prey before slowly walking away from the oasis. I have to get out of desert soon, I'm starting to speak in riddles like the rest of them. She thought flattening her ears.

Nanu felt frustration, and decided to strike forward "You think there will be peace?" He hissed menacingly wrapping himself again around Lily "Let me show you another ability, A snakes predictable eyesight" He said looking at Lily "Let me show you the true acts that took place in this very spot you stand!" He hissed.

Lily flattened her ears, she had to get back. The others needed a healer and she hadn't seen one when she got back. Jumping gracefully into the air, she landed beside Nanu. "No, I don't think there will be peace, I know there will be peace if everything goes as planned." She glared at Nanu her eyes flashing gold, reminding herself to calm down. Flattening her ears, she relaxed before sitting down. "The past is the past, what I care about is the future and what we are going to do about it."

Nanu felt rage but laughed "As expected of a gold type, Stubborn and never learning...You cant plan for everything, the re will always be something to interupt plans, As knights we were trained to plan but also to expect the unexpected, If you really believe in peace why dont you try and see why this land is considered the dunes of death, Silver roses make these pacts thunking there will be peace but everyone in the clans know that something is stirring." He hissed, he then looked around "There isnt much to do, Either you pick a side or stay neutral and let them fight the desert has different rules, you should know this" Nanu said. He was never a fan of those who just plan.

Oh, I know this alright. But it's about time for change. She thought shaking her head. "Plans are guidlines of what to do, the unexpected can happen and we will keep going. And I have learned more than any spirit should have." She got up again as a Silver Rose crested the dune. "Now I must leave, many things to do, not enough time. Hope to meet you again Nanu, knight of the gods." The Silver Rose Warrior dipped his head to Nanu before turning to Lily. "The moon rises, the sun falls. Wolves rise, wolves fall. Now in need, great one help us you will?" Nodding to the wolf, he started back towards the dune at a brisk trot, Lily following close behind.

Nanu only looked on, he felt irritated. "Dont we all" He hissed silently turning around and slithering the opposite direction. 'Knows better than any spirit, huh if only she knew the knights knowledge and pains then maybe she'd understand' He thought picking up speed.

Lily trotted looking back only once, Ugh, if only he knew what I do. She thought, her trot becoming a fast lope. They made it back to the makeshift camp where she started to help the healers with the wounded. After helping a couple, she went to check on the mothers and pups. Slipping in, the mothers blinked gratefully at her before one asked, "Heir of Silver Dragon alright yes? Forest she go, Desert she left, Sand Dwellers come close to horizon." Lily responded, "Heir alright, yes. . .Sand Dwellers come close but no farther."

Jabari walked around, Paul was sitting against the wall staring at nothing, Jabari felt nervous but wasnt sure as to why, he felt an unsettling presence.

Starfire made it back to camp, some of the shifters greeting him as he walked in. Walking through, he made it to the healing pond where he found Jabari and walking around and Paul finally awake. Dipping his head to both, he said to Paul, "How are you feeling?"
