Raven/GH Deputy/M: Phase, Tracer, Nine, Mary

Raven stayed in griffin form, getting the last doe onto her back before taking flight, staying even with Phase. She could hear Mary talking in a different language to Nine. The camp came up ahead and she lighted down heavily. Dropping the prey, she shifted back into a wolf before looking at Tracer. "Tomorrow, I want you to take a hunting patrol to the Eastern Woods. Whatever problem is going on between you and Phase needs to get figured out. Take her with you." Nine, tomorrow we will be hunting rabbits. Do you want me to show you how to hunt rabbits now or get some rest?

Tracer would except any punishment with open paws (Or something) But another hunting patrol with Phase is something he would not go for. Well I guess we do have to sort something out but... He sighed, "Fine by me, I'll go and do something else."

Nine looked up, yes yes right now! she sent excitingly, before coughing abit and realizing her throat was dry, can I drink something first? she asked politely.

Raven/GH Deputy/M: Nine, Tracer

Raven watched Tracer walk away before hearing Nine. Yes of course! Go get something to eat and drink and then I will show you. Realizing she was thirsty as well, she went to the stream to take a drink as well.

Nine never really took drinks at the stream anymore, ever since she drank from the healing pond it suddenly made her throat stopped hurting, it was magical and even alittle addicting, she rushed to the healing pond thing and drank alot o it up before trotting back to where she landed, waiting patiently for Raven.

Raven/GH Deputy/M: Nine

After she had her fill, she clumped some moss together into a ball. Picking up the moss ball, she trotted back to Nine. Putting the moss ball a couple fox lengths from Nine, she thought, Pretend this is the rabbit. Catching rabbits by yourself is harder then it is in pairs. Moving to the other side of the moss ball, When I move upwind, I let it catch my scent. The rabbit will then run straight for you. We can try that tomorrow. Pretend your hunting a squirrel for now. Tail down and don't brush into any bushes. Rabbits like meadows so you will be moving through long grass. She picked up the moss ball, putting it next to the stream. Try to aim for the moss ball, but don't go so far that you land in the stream. She knew the stream wasn't deep so Nine would only get her paws wet if she missed. She flicked her tail, signaling to go ahead.

Nine, her main form being a fox was already fairly good at pouncing, so she would just have to work on aiming, (Don't fall into the water, don't fall into the water...) Nine leaped up in the air, her eyes locked onto the moss ball before grabbing it with her paws, then toppled into the water, the mossball still with her, oops...

Raven chuckled at Nine. You got the mossball. That's good. Now we have to work on your landing. When you dive at the mossball, always be aware of your surroundings. Always bring your back legs back down and land on your forepaws. She helped Nine out of the water before shaking the mossball to get rid of the water. Setting it back down, let's try that again. And remember, picture where you want to land and guide your paws to that place.

Nine nodded, determined to do this right so far, she went back to her position and stared at the mossball, it almost seemed like it was teasing her. I want to land my paws right at the moss ball, which means I shoud'nt place all four of my paws on it... She set her backlegs farther from her body for her to have a better stance, then she pounced, her paws again landed on the mossball, and before she toppled over her backlegs went down. It took a split second for her to steady herself before realizing she did not topple into the stream. Nine wagged her tale, feeling triumphant

Raven got up, Good job! That was perfect. Now that you can do that, we are going to try rabbit on the run. Raven picked up some rope wrapping it around the moss ball. She went a little ways before swirling it around a tree making a pulley. Rabbits are fast so we have to be faster. What you are going to do is catch the moss ball after it has "spotted" you. When I say go, get ready. The rabbit could go at anytime, so be ready for anything. "Go," Raven said, starting the practice hunt.

Nine immediately tried to launch on the mossball, but Raven pulled it away (I'm guessing) Nine, already frustrated ran full speed at it, to her this was just a game now, since it was fun.
