Atri gave a half smile when she mentioned the others would be coming.. didn't sound like anyone got hurt.. they were okay.. ~ He breathed a sigh of relief as he rested his hand on his side, wincing slightly as the painkillers were starting to wear off.. He listened while Aya spoke, his heart dropping slightly when she asked if he was attacked.. ~ "We all were.. I, attempted to buy the others time so I stayed a bit behind to drive off the enemies.." He narrowed his eyes as he tried to think of how to say what happened without putting himself or the others in case she was a normal.. |

"There were more than one?" she asked, trying not to smile. He was nervous, guilty even, she could feel it, he was hiding something and she could guess what it was. |

He glanced over at Aya, gazing into her eyes, his eyes glowing a dim amber. He sighed as he lay back down. "She ended up in the woods alone, once we found her we were heading back.. we got trailed by a mutant and I tried to hold it off while the others got our friend to safety.." ~ He sighed again.. "everything after that's a blur to me.." |

Atris eyes flared for a second at her words, immediately vanishing as he calmed down, he sat upright in the bed, the blankets falling off him, leaving him in his pale blue robes. ~ He massaged his temples as his body recovered, looking out the window for a small while.. "yeah.. right." Aya used offend, it's super effective- XD Atris in much pain physically and mentally 😂)) |
