Stepping into the area Lyra blinked as she let her eyes adjust after passing through that.. portal? She shook her head, whatever it was it transcended space and time. Though if she thought about it, such a thing wasn't really outside the realm of possibility when it came to gods. As she glanced around she felt her chest tighten uncomfortably, new faces and an unknown place weren't really her forte, but if this meant finding more about her heritage and what that meant for her then she'd bit the bullet, so to speak.
.
Readjusting the small backpack on her shoulder Lyra wondered further into the grove as she'd dubbed it, her gaze taking in the living spaces and noting the housekeepers didn't exactly look...human. She grimaced and decided she'd keep her distance unless necessary, her nerves were already on edge, no need to make them worse by interacting with beings she wasn't familiar with.
Hesitating for a moment Lyra looked around, she didn't know anyone there. Her breath caught in her throat before she coughed and managed to push the suffocating weight off her chest, now was not the time to lose it. She shook her head and assessed the group again, by all accounts her friend Ariy would probably fit right in with some of these people. Lyra silently laughed at the thought, a slight pang as she missed her friend.
.
Taking a breath to steady herself she moved over and took a seat beside the most approachable person she could find, glancing briefly at the faded green of his hair. Fidgeting with her bag's strap she smiled nervously, "hey..interesting place huh?" Lyra cringed at her awkwardness, she was so horrible at greeting new people and this was yet more proof of that.
Her gaze dropped to the ground by her feet, watching her boots flatten the grass below as she shifted anxiously.
