Albino-Changes the picture to a plain white squirrelwith a pink nose and pink eyes Melanism-Changes the picture to a pitch black wolf. Vitiligo- As the squirrelages, spots will show on their pelts. Erythrism- Changes the picture to a brownish-copper squirrelwith black paws. Leucism- Changes the picture to a pale coloured wolf.

I believe you get a higher chance for getting a birth defect is that one of the parents (for me usually the mother) has one. I have a squirrelwith double kidneys and many of her kits had that. (Almost one in every liter!) |
