I do super rough, secondary rough, clean, and then lines. The first three take maybe ten minutes each, and I use a new layer each time so I can just delete the old one and keep it from getting cluttered. I set the older layer under 50% transparency as well.

My art has more layers than I do

My art never takes 8+ layers unless it's an animation ^^"

I tried drawing an eye on a single layer before (with colors and stuff) and I died kinda badly LOL

I use a sketch layer, lines, color, shading, background and extras >.>

I have a different layer for each color I use :"D doesn't include shadiing and background eheh-
