You start listening for the flowing water, then start to walk in the direction it seems loudest. You weave through some trees since there seems to hardly be any path here. Avoiding roots popping out of the ground skirting around a rotten, fallen tree, the sound of water grows louder. Then something glitters past a few trees. You quicken your pace, almost tripping on a root as you hurry. A stream cut through the forest here. Catching your breath, you spot a less treed area a little way upstread, where here there's trees everywhere. The trees block your view of downstream.

A. Go upstream

B. Go downstream

C. Look around for movement

You glance around the area for any movement. As you scan the area, you spy some hoofprints between the trees. You cant tell how many sets of hooves there were, but it appears to be at least 2, since one seems to break off from the others. What do you want to do?

A. Follow the large amount of hoofprints

B. Track the one who broke off from the herd

C. Wait here

You decide to follow the goat who left the herd and walk to the hoofprints to follow them. You can determine the goat seems to be full grown due to the hoofprints' size as you carefully track the goat. Then you hear movement from near you, and you freeze. A growl rings area the trees, followed by the sound of leaves being kicked around, moments later you spot a just the tail of a goat as it runs away.

A. Try and follow it, avoiding whatever was growling

B. Find the growling

C. Wait

You weave through the trees, hearing the growls die away behind you as you got onto the trail the goat ran. Avoiding a few roots and rocks that seem to go on forever, you hear the stream again. It's a different part of the stream, not as thickly wooded here. Observing the area, you try to not make any sound as you get a bit closer. On the other side of the stream, you spy a goat.

It's a buck, his eyes scanning the area nervously. He doesn't appear to be injured or anything. What do you want to do?

A. Watch him

B. Grab an item (Apple-Scented Treats, Second-cut hay or leash & collar)

C. Leave him

You watch the buck as he scans the area. He doesn't seem to notice you and bends his head down to the stream and starts lapping the water, his beard dangling into the water and getting wet. After a few moments, he lifts his head up and sniffs the air, letting out a soft bleat. He turns around and head into the trees on the other side of the stream. What do you do?

A. Follow him

B. Stay here

C. Go to a different part of the forest
