Do we want to make sign-ups at all just to have a place to put characters or is the roster fairly good?

Awh, no worries! We'll see you when you come back, VioletEcho! :0 Vah I'd be down for something like that! Doesn't have to be a full on fancy form, just somewhere where we can have the info on all the characters would be nice *^* We've been pretty quiet today, huh? I have a few questions for everyone's characters if people wanna answer :D What's your character's favourite thing to do pirate-wise? Is it sailing around? Riding their dragon? Raiding other ships? Fighting with other pirates? etc etc What's their least favourite thing about being a pirate? Do they have any friends or family members who know and disagree with their choice to become a pirate? Do they feel like they had a choice at all? How new is your character to the crew? Have they been around since the early days, or are they new and still learning to fit in? How did your character meet their dragon? Did they ever think they'd have one? Edited at January 19, 2025 08:59 PM by Eternity

Answers for Dally: - Sure, it's a little sappy. And probably a bit too movie-like to seem real, but, who wouldn't love to sit on top of a space-pirate ship, leaning into a dragon softer than any substance known to man, watching space dolphins in the sky? It couldn't get better than that. - Maybe it is his responsibility, and maybe he is good at it, but Dallas hates punishing the crew members—unless he believes that they really deserved it. He thinks of the others like his brothers, his family, and he's never liked punishing anyone anyway. Captain's orders. - All of his biological family is long gone, but if there would have been one to cheer him on, it would have been his younger sister, with an age gap of 5 years, Lila. Dallas does believe he had a choice, but he doesn't want to be a bad pirate. He only wants to steal to feed his family, himself, and his dragon. Essentials. And, of course, being a pirate means travel, which he can't get enough of. - I'd like to think Dallas came around somewhere in the middle. Kind of just dropped in and immediately clung to everyone there, whether they liked it or not. - Javalasii and Dallas were hostile at first. Dallas loved dragons, but didn't believe that they wouldn't eat him if he found one, and never thought he'd be best friends with one—but wondering through the wilderness has it's perks. Essentially, as long as he didn't hurt any plants, Java didn't bite. Of course, Dally being the lonely bean that he was, immediately stuck to the side of this poor dragon and didn't let go. Java is compliant enough with his presence. - Note: I can change this to be in character if you would like. ^^ Edited at January 19, 2025 09:11 PM by Lackadaisy

Ooh good questions, seeing as I forgot to flesh out Charlie at all :') - "I'd probably say my favorite thing to do is to just be with the dragons because, well.... they don't talk back. I like flying with Halcyon, of course, but just being with them on the ship is so peaceful. They stay out of my way unless I need them, I stay out of their way unless they need pets..." - "My least favorite thing about being a pirate? Don't have one. That's rediculous, actually." - "I definitely had a choice in life, and I know I made the right one. Nobody except Halcyon tells me what to do, and even he struggles with that." - "I've been here for... oh, a couple months, I think? Time is irrelevant when we're always flying around new stars. I don't even know what year it is, honestly. Anywho, I've been here long enough that everybody knows to stay out of my way, but not long enough that they always listen." - "Oh man, I met Halcyon when he was just a baby. I was off on my own, looking for something to do with life, and BAM! Baby dragon with a torn wing. We got that mended right up, and I thought that would be it and he would scorch me, but apparently he likes me enough to keep me around. Now he's all grown up and if you look at his wing - yeah, I did that - it's all healed, you can barely see the scar! Crazy what medicine can do, isn't it?" Answers for ET Shai's had a love for the stars since he was a child. Navigating the vast expanse of space and discovering new planets/stars is what he lives for. Yapping to his crew mates about nonsensical topics, whether it be space, violence, or exploration is just an added bonus to a job he loves to do. It's the biting cold. No matter how many clothes he wears, no matter how hot Ambrose runs, its always too cold. And while Shai loves traversing around the dark atmosphere, the biting temperature of outer space isn't something he can learn to love. Shai had no choice in becoming a pirate. His upbringing in a war-torn planet left no child untouched from violence. The only difference now is the fact the he can dictate his own actions. Chose who to protect and who to maim. Shai is one of the older crew members; having just shown up one day and choosing to bother these people for the rest of their lives. He found a home. Shai raised Ambrose from birth. They grew up together, trained together, and escaped their home planet together. They've been through thick and thin, suffered tragedies, and still managed to keep what little sanity they have left.
