I like to think I can draw, but I can't draw my own characters. It's too painful seeing how much they don't look anything like I visualized. I'm not sure who I'll use. If you wouldn't mind mentioning at least some names, species, gender of characters you are thinking of that would be great. If you would like to advise me I could give like five words to describe them or something so you have a better idea |

Sure, I can do that, and the descriptions would be great! First character I'm considering is an elven mage, a fiercely determined scholar who studies anything and everything involving magic, and has found a good position which both funds her studies, and allows her to be with a safer group than if she were working alone. The second, the one who might be a good leader, is a large human swordsman, a bit on the grizzled side, and familiar with the darker sides of the world, but protective of his people and even fatherly to many of those who come across the group, as many are in need of some form of guidance. The third is a spellsword type character, a light mage who grew up within an environment similar to that of the group, having been raised by an ex mercenary and an old friend of the group's leader, whoever that ends up being. The older members of the group are familiar ith her and may see her like a little sister. She is quite young and inexperienced, although she knows well how to care for herself. The fourth is someone who may function well as a healer, effectively an elven druid, a woman who is all coldness and ferocity, but is more than willing to keep this 'squad of children' alive if she really needs to. The fifth is something of a charmer and party face type of character, a roguishly charming devil of a man who chats up just about anyone he can. He gets into more trouble than he's worth, but, if kept in check, is quite handy to the group as its primary source of stealth. |

Morgan - She is an elven assassin. She came from a place that appreciated plants and good food (imagine hobbit culture), but she become obsessed with deadly mushrooms and that led to her studying to become an assassin. Probably aloof Jupiter - Warrior/hunter. He came from a tribe of centaurs where he was one of the strongest and best at protecting the herd. He is arrogant and short tempered. Sage - She is a young center. She is in the process of learning to become a warrior. She is energetic and friendly. Very eager and excited. Aoibheann - She is a traveling elven mercenary. It's just something she's able to do well. She's pretty cheerful and willing to talk to anyone. She likes to travel and see new things. Ben - Elf, He came from a farm. (maybe a blacksmith and he fixes stuff). He's pretty quiet and peaceful. He often uses his size to discourage fights. Probably the type to wield a large blunt weapon. Pandora - mermaid, she has served as a guard before. (I normally have her in a story where a princess ran off and she is either protecting her or trying to bring her back to her kingdom. Maybe she failed and she is banished from her kingdom.) She tends to be pretty bitter. She is pretty emotional, but she likes to think she is logical. Very loyal, determined, and stubborn. |

I'd figure my first or fourth would function well as a group mage. Sage and my second might do well as a sorta father-daughter relationship. Ben or Pandora could be a good group moral compass, but I think Morgan or Jupiter would add some interesting conflicts between the group. Sage or Aoibheann would work well for the group's upbeat member, kinda bringing light to the whole party. I'm thinking for mine maybe one, two, and four or five? |

Whichever you're more comfortable with is fine by me. It is easier to focus primarily on one, but either way can be fun. |

I'll have a hard time choosing a main. Maybe like two mains and the rest side characters. For me that means I do a separate post for each main, but I don't have to for side characters. Just when needed, but it might be fun to do all of them as mains, but I'd probably get overwhelmed. |

Probably would be overwhelming, yeah. You also don't need to use all of the characters if you don't want to. I usually max out at 3, and will probably only focus on one at a time. |
