I ALMOST FORGOT--
head cannon;
Space Dragons (and like their scales/fur/fstuff cheekshers/etc.) have a certain compound that allows them to brstuff cheekshe from the solar matter in the void of space.
So.
When someone (or something) else has anything from a Space Dragon on them (like physically touching skin) it absorbs into their skin and they can also brstuff cheekshe like the space dragons do.
Thus eliminating the need for funky helmets because I can not.
