they /do/ feel comfortable. it's the biggest discourager for me when thinking "do i want my usual or do i want to see what else there is-".

What helps though is thinking too about how often I visit the place where I'm contemplating my options. If I go there a lot, then I can get my usual next time if I don't like the thing I'm wanting to try. If I don't go there often, then I normally avoid new things because I don't know the next time I'll be able to get what I normally got from that place.

Yeah, I didn't really venture too much of anything until I was 16. 16 was when a lot of "firsts" happened, and then 18 was when i decided that i needed to learn to not judge consumable things before trying them. I've gotten a lot less picky that way. My usual meal from every single restaurant growing up was always a plain burger with just ketchup and the bread with a side of fries, and now I have so much variety wherever I go that I need to keep a list of my Usuals just to remember what I get. Drinks included. I've been trying new drinks every chance I get. :D

I'm pretty sure the first time I tried an energy drink was when I was 18. I thought they were a drink to be avoided, but they're amazing.

a painfully long time
i actually looked back on my roleplays from when i was like… 12? and may i say i cringed so hard. it was a very, very long time ago and offsite but that question reminded me of that haha

I can't believe that I waited a whole month before I started roleplaying on WP. What had I missed? O.o I started roleplaying on a different site for like two roleplays. I started looking for a more consistent site. The roleplays on that site died out too quickly, because no one was active.

I haven't role-played properly in a long while, since life had prevented me from doing so. I am slowly slipping back into my normal length which is around 300+ words. There are times where I will reach 500-600+ words, but that is rather rare or just depends on my motivatian and inspiration.

Huh. So the first RP I ever made in was in October of last year, and I believe I was in two other short-lived RPs very recently before that, and a brief pm RP as well. So I'll say I actually started RPing last fall. I had never RPed before WP (didn't even know it existed), so I'm still pretty new to this whole thing :')
