always have the character first, mostly because i can't sleep a lot so I make up OCs. then i think up a plot they'd fit in, because symbolism and characters feeling like they fit in the world are pretty important to me. i just base the RP off of one character I'm feeling at a certain time

Realized we approach rp's kinda opposite, and now I'm curious about other folks. Do y'all create characters first, and then build the plot and setting around them, or do you prefer to create the setting and the plot before making characters to fit into the world?
