Hey so here's a question. Not cringe, but a general rp related query that came up while I was chatting with one of my buddies. Realized we approach rp's kinda opposite, and now I'm curious about other folks. Do y'all create characters first, and then build the plot and setting around them, or do you prefer to create the setting and the plot before making characters to fit into the world?

It really depends for me, but I tend to create settings and plots first. There have been times when a character has inspired a plot, but aside from those few exceptions, character writing often comes last for me.

Well most of the time I'm joining a roleplay with the story/world premade so I normally make the character after that
