Look at the message. Does it say "You have 30 character points to assign to your wolves."

You get 2 sets of points, 1 set for yourself which is 30 (40 if your premium) and then 6 points for other people's wolves. If you don't see the 30 or 40 for your wolves, then you have to wait until a day passes to get more.

^^^ you also need to make sure you aren't surpassing the max amount of cp a wolf can have
