I'm stumped. I've looked all over to figure out about the play feature. In game guide it says when we return from hunt we get play points? But I don't see any way of checking or any info on it at all

It's a premium only feature.

Same as the greenhouse, you can only get it buy paying atleast 20 apples for the premium account.

You can buy apples for USD 0.50 each or from other members in barter search.
