Appearance:

A look at Kenji is enough to confuse anyone of his age, his strong figure, and eyes make him appear older, while his facial features still have a boyish look to them. He is a lean creature with defined features, of which, include his facial features. Kenji's jaw is angled and sharp from the side, yet looking at him straight on his face doesn't seem as defined, giving a softer, if you will, boyish appearance. His nose is straight and angled down, perfectly centered in his face, which takes on a more squarish shape to it. His lips are full and are colored a soft pink in contrast to his tanned skin tone, which has warmer undertones allowing him to have golden skin in the summer. His lips are also shaped in a near-perfect cupid bow. Kenji has dazzling green eyes, speckled with various shades of green, turning paler as the colors fade to his iris. A look into them is enough to turn things serious, they're a window into his soul, revealing a completely other side to him. His eyes never lie about his true feelings. His eyes are framed by dark brown lashes, thick and full, nearly enough to make any girl jealous, as his sister tells him. When he laughs you can see little crinkles or "crow's feet" under his eyes, paired with a loud deep voice. Now this male's eyebrows are sharper and angulated, making his facial features seem sharper and defined at times. His smile is boyish with his crooked grin and flashy white teeth, causing small dimples to appear on either side of his face if he attempts the motion.

Bozzelli's hair is definitely an attention-getter, with his "long locks" nearly touching the nape of his neck. His hair is colored a soft brown and is thick and lush, paired with natural curls to get the girls. The curl type itself is between a 3a and a 3b, allowing some sporadic springy ringlets to form on his head and its visibly healthy hair. It has a sort of gleam to it in the light and is soft to the touch. Kenji normally styles it with a shower before bed, and then allows his hair to air dry before sleeping on it and then going with the bedhead the next morning. His hair is low maintenance and does not need product unless he's feeling like doing the work to get it there, he's generally a bit lazy when it comes to this part of his morning routine. Kenji is the King of bedhead and messy hair, and no one can rival this.

His figure has been worked on for over the past few years. Keeping in shape has kept Kenji's sanity, and he honestly wouldn't know what to do without it. Running has kept him lean while more weighted exercise has kept his body toned and in prime condition. His torso is narrower, yet his hips and broad shoulders balance it out. His stomach is toned, allowing sight of his abdominal muscles, yet more impressive is this male's back and biceps. After gaining some muscle mass flexing became his personality, yet he has slowly grown more humble about the progress of his physique, yet sometimes he can't help by subtle flex, or by bringing up his strength to impress when he needs it. His weight is slightly above average for your normal male boy, with his height adding to his impressive figure. Kenji stands at an impressive 6'2", and he won't let anyone a millimeter shorter than him get away from his sight without making a height joke.

Bozzelli's scent is a distinctive salt water scent, a single inhale gives you the smell of a crisp morning on the ocean so clear you can envision it. Another recognizable scent is the faint smell of coffee grounds, Kenji's current lifeline. As a "caffeine addict," he drinks it regularly, leaving the scent to linger on him throughout the day. The day you catch this man without his caffeine is a bad day for anyone, you know it's ruff when you catch a whiff of BO. instead of coffee grounds.

Few know this about Kenji, but he does have a piercing. A smaller silver stud is pierced into his right ear, given to him as a gift from his mother. It was a family heirloom and is considered good luck. It's normally covered by his hair, so it's not very noticeable until he ties his hair back, or a glint of the sun catches in it. A few other unknowns about this male include various degrees of birthmarks, he does have a light spray of freckles and small moles across his face, shoulders, and arms, but he has a lighter patch of skin stretched over his ribs. It's on the lateral sides of his body, almost a slight discoloration of the skin if you will. Besides that, he has 20/20 vision and is basically built to pick up anyone's mom.

Personality:

Ah, Kenji, there are many phrases that can be used to describe this young man, "reckless", "flirty", "ambitious", and "confident". But you wouldn't expect intellect to necessarily play a role, considering his spontaneous, irrational seeming, behavior. Kenji is quite observant, always watching and absorbing information. It helps that he has an impeccable memory, allowing him to better read people and remember small details about them. This translates nicely to intelligence, as he can remember so much information without being overwhelmed. He is calculating and aware of his surroundings, and Kenji's survival instincts are off the chart. He grew up the youngest of 6 siblings, so his parents grew lax and let him roam pretty freely when he was younger, and not living in the safest neighborhood he often had to watch his own back and take care of himself. Kenji taught himself to grow up, often overlooked as his older, talented siblings took light, but coming to the choosing ceremony was his way of trying to fight his way back into his parent's favor. Perhaps if he could do something amazing and bond with a dragon it would be enough to get their attention. This lack of parenting has let him pretty attention-starved, he's turned into a very social person to try and counteract these feelings of loneliness and often goes out of his way to be vocal and try and make friends. He can be very optimistic and prefers to see the positive in life versus the negative. With this, he often blocks out negative emotions and hides behind humor. Now, don't get me wrong, Kenji is extremely hilarious and sarcastic, constantly cracking jokes and trying to put smiles on people's faces, but he uses it to distract from his own feelings. He has never been good at expressing himself and has trouble opening up.

Kenji has kept himself in shape for as long as he can remember. Running and strength training is his only outlet for pent-up anger and sadness he doesn't know how to express, and his muscles ache for these activities. His endurance is sub-par, but that doesn't stop him, he pushes and pushes hard until he has nothing left in the tank, completely collapsing until he can do it all over again. Every training session he has he works double time, he feeds off of his improvement and craves to be better. Bozzelli is extremely competitive and will fight for the win at anything he does, he's an all-or-nothing kind of guy and won't half-ass any job or drill. Recently he has been excelling at some hand-to-hand combat, and his swordsmanship has improved as well, he's been looking for new techniques and better teachers, and hopes to learn more during his training as a rider as well. He's a sponge when it comes to soaking up information, and dragons + adrenaline = a dedicated Kenji, he will be thrilled with bonding and hopes to catch on quickly. His slight incoordination will not help with this, however, he is willing to face the embarrassment of falling off of his dragon in order to learn how to ride. Coming into this he hardly knows a thing about how to act around dragons, let alone how the bonding process works since he was not sure he would even get the chance to try and bond with these magnificent creatures. Despite this Kenji will do his best to work in a partnership and pull his end to make it work.

When it comes to spending time with friends Kenji does relax and is not afraid to be his authentic self. While he is a lot of talk, this young man is also a great listener, he can sit still and listen to you ramble for hours if need be. He didn't get that luxury growing up, so he tries to reciprocate it to others. While enjoying time with friends, Kenji does value time alone. Being with people for so long can wear a person out, and he does like just sitting and being in silence. Particularly in nature, he likes colors in fall and spring weather, rainy days, or even light snow. The weather is fascinating and beautiful to experience and just being in the quiet of it is soothing and relaxing. He does values these moments of peace, because he is normally a "go go go" kind of person, preferring to be more productive than just sit around, but he does still enjoy these moments. Speaking of being a productive person, this can be credited to Kenji's best friend, caffeine. Coffee pretty much keeps him alive, and having the extra energy boost allows him to get more stuff done, and be better productive throughout the day. You can tell when he hasn't had a cup of coffee, often grumpy and tired seeming.

Kenji is a passionate person, in his emotions and friendships, and even arguments. He is generally not one to back down or give in. Giving in means losing and Kenji will refuse to lose. He can be stubborn, refusing help or refusing to be wrong when he truly believes he is in the right. This stubbornness transfers over to matters concerning the safety of his loved ones, he is very protective of his friends and close family, and will not allow their safety to be compromised. Believe it or not, Bozzelli thrives under high-pressure situations. He is clear and level-headed and can quickly think through situations. With high stakes, it pushes him to do better and be better.

-Combat, he is good with a sword and has the muscle mass to wield large weapons, as well as potentially be good in hand-to-hand combat once he begins to master more techniques.

-Fast thinking, which has saved his ass plenty of times. He can come up with detailed plans if given time, but Bozzelli is also good at improvising.

-Kenji is good at listening, for all of his ramblings he can take sitting down and hearing the straight details.

-He is not as agile as some others, nor as flexible due to his current training.

-Comprehending emotions, he tends to bury his own and hide it with humor, but he also has a bit of a hard time fully reading people and their intentions.

-Lack of experience and knowledge, he has hardly any idea on how to go about and do this dragon bonding/riding business.

Likes & Dislikes:

-Big fan of cardio....running of course! And staying in shape, he physically cannot let himself take a day off without feeling guilty, however, he still enjoys this time.

-Individual time alone. Kenji is a social being, but he also values time alone to sort out his own thoughts. He also doesn't mind the personal downtime.

-Dragons are, of course, fascinating creatures...yada yada yada. But what he really likes about them is the thrill and adrenaline he receives when around them, the thought of the unknown is almost thrilling. And Kenji does not know a lot about dragons.

-Coffee. His lifeline. Good luck getting him to be productive without any sort of caffeine.

-He enjoys the simple things in life, like getting a fresh pair of socks, cool rain, or starry nights. He is also competitive.

-Kenji is NOT a fan of the snarky or stuck-up, and he will let you know how he feels about that behavior when the time comes.

-Sticky, hot weather does not make for a happy Kenji.

Appearance:

Nuria’s impressive stature brings her to stand at a solid 19 ft tall at the shoulder, not quite 250 years she still has room to grow. Her build is muscular, when she moves you can see the power in her stride and in Nuria’s powerful flight capabilities. This dragon had a set of double wings, the first set sized large and powerful, the top of it is colored black and the underside is a wine red. Her wings are made of a membrane-like material, thicker at the base and thinner towards their tips, of which have a small, hook-like spike on the end of each of the bones in her wing. Her second set of wings is only slightly smaller and is colored the exact same as her larger wings and the same in anatomy. This pair is underneath her other set of wings, this allows her to choose to fly with one set or both, as she can tuck the smaller pair into her sides, hiding them underneath her other wings. The size difference is not very noticeable despite the lower pair being slightly smaller. A look at her is almost not enough to determine the pattern across her scales, which consists of a black so dark it’s void of any color, making her scale pattern blend into each other seamlessly. On her underbelly, her scales look like large plates of armor, but throughout the rest of her, her scales are smaller sizes. They have no sheen to them, making her hard to see in the dark, as no light reflects off of them, often just absorbing the light into her sides, Nuria is deadly at night, with her size one might question that, but this dragon is light on her feet and black as the night, giving her the element of surprise. Her scales are rounded on the ends and lock into a weaving pattern to form her exterior shield.

She is not entirely colored black, but her underside is rather, a wine-red color. It colors the soft scales of her belly and up through her neck to the base of her head. The undersides of her claws are colored a much darker red, closer to black, but nonetheless red. Her claws themselves are four-pronged and sharp, each equipped with a sharp white claw. She has four powerful legs, the insides of them again colored a wine red but the outer side is completely black. Going into her tail, a similar coloring pattern is seen, with the underside dark red and the top being black. From the base of her neck to the tip of her tail there are spikes of various sizes going down her back, colored black enough to blend in with her scales, if you're standing in the right position you won’t be able to even see them, as they will blend seamlessly into her back. These spikes are slightly larger in the middle of her back, and sort of taper out into smaller ones at the end of her tail and the base of her head, giving it the look of a sort of fin, but of course, made out of spikes.

Nuria’s head is long and slender, an almost delicate thing. Her mouth is filled with razor-sharp teeth, smaller ones in the back moving to much larger ones in the front, when her mouth is closed a few larger ones can be seen hanging outside of her mouth. She has multiple rows of teeth, losing one simply does not matter as there are so many more, and it can easily be regrown. Now under her jaw is a soft spot with smaller scales colored red, that connect to the same red of her underbelly. The rest of her head is black, save for her eyes and a spot underneath them. As a Seer dragon, Nuria is losing her sight, as this process occurs the blood vessels rupture in her eyes, causing them to turn red until she cannot see, meaning the world will continue to be tinged red as her loss of sight progresses. When she was born her eyes were initially a pretty brown, flecked with amber, but as this process has occurred her Iris has shifted to a red hue, its edges completely tinged with a blood-red color that is slowly working its way to cover her pupil. Meaning in the next three years her eyes will continue to progress this way, until she cannot see, then she will have completely red eyes. No pretty shades of brown, just solid red encasing her eye. It’s pretty near to this now, but she can still see things up close as well as blurred shapes in the distance, Bright lights also affect her as well, as she becomes more sensitive to living in a dark world, bright lights startle her. She also has a red marking to match the color of her eyes right beneath her orbs. It’s a red line of sorts, almost giving it the loop of eyeliner, it’s a short little “swoop” marking directly beneath her water line, pointing towards her tail. This is under both eyes.

Besides her distracting bright red eyes, contrasting her darker scales, you are drawn into the arrangement of horns upon her head. She has a sort of crown that they create, with the sheer multitude of them being great. Large and distracting she has a line of small ones jutting out to look more like nubs along the sides of her face, and moving up her head she has a large pair of curled horns, similar to that of a ram on either side of her head, Nuria had another set, a pair of horns much straighter and large jutting straight back on her head. In addition to this, she has a few smaller ones filling in the gaps, creating a crown-like assortment.

A look in her direction brings you to her blood-red eyes, but also to the other markings beneath them. Nuria has a large gash right beneath her right eye, which she earned from a battle some years ago which nearly took the sight from her. This would have been unfortunate considering she would still have to lose it a few years later. Luckily it’s just healed into a scar but still is a visible horizontal mark under her eye. In addition to this, she has a large claw mark, gouging four deep lines into her left hind quarters from a previous battle. Her scales were able to heal around it, but the faint lines are still visible. Nuria has various other small scars that pepper her through the years and from her adventures with Xev. This dragon also has a particular scent, being near her smells something like strong pine or evergreen, as she tends to prefer to spend her time in forests, also inheriting the scent of them from her extensive time there. She has a crisp scent to her, always fresh and like the outdoors. Her gait is something smooth, a steady pace fast enough to keep up and please the fast walkers, but slow enough to allow those slow walkers to keep up. While she prefers to spend more time in the sky, this does not disable her walking abilities.

The Sight - Strength, visions of the future, Weakness, going blind: Seer dragons have the ability to have visions, and visions of the future more specifically. They can look into the future and see exactly what is to happen and when. Of course, the future is a tricky thing, predicting moves in battle is one thing, but predicting the future outcome of that battle is another. The more complicated the future and the more it is affected by a larger amount of decisions, the more likely it is to change and make the vision faulty. For example, she could see that if one person takes a specific path(the good path) over another, they could meet a positive outcome, though if something else causes them to take the other path(the bad path) that vision is no longer true. She can't predict random forces that might interrupt the process of her prediction, so some can be wrong. The older a dragon gets the easier visions come. However, dragons of this species often begin to go blind as these visions increase and become more intense, in mid-adulthood, they go fully blind. Once this occurs visions happen more fluidly and so frequently it's as if they can still see, because they can use it to determine their surroundings. It becomes less draining because they won't have as much sensory information interfering with it. This also allows their other senses to become heightened, so adjusting to the lack of sight does become easier. Currently, Nuria is nearly blind, though she can still see your rough outline and some bright colors, she will have to use her vision ability to actually see her rider's face when it comes to bonding.

Flying - Double wings: Having a second set of wings increases her flying capabilities, making her an insanely strong flyer. This also increases her flying speed and maneuverability, allowing for a quick and efficient escape if need be.

Manipulation: A very draining process if used excessively, it can lead to death if over-used. The dragon must have recovery time, during which they are vulnerable after use. In short, the dragon can harness control of another's mind for a short period of time, basically possessing them to do their wishes, whether it's a simple task such as turning around or something more dangerous like a human wielding a sword. The larger the creature they use it on, the more draining, humans are the easiest to manipulate due to their size and fragility. If overused she losses all of her senses until this "cool down" period is over.

Glimpse: It allows Nuria to “see” where things are. If she knows the person or thing she is looking for and the general region where it is, she can locate it using the glimpse. The glimpse gives her a visual portal into the location in which the desired object is. Experiencing it blocks out her other senses to focus on mentally reaching out to find the object or person, and allows Nuria to receive a "still-life photo" of the area the object is in within her mind, allowing her to find lost items or locate missing people. As long as she has a 3-mile radius of where the object should be, she can find it. As her powers continue developing and as she grows, this can increase further up to a max of 10 miles. The power really starts to rapidly develop around the age of 500. Using this power is a mentally draining task, and if used extensively, it can temporarily eliminate her senses until she can recover. The only way she could communicate at this point would be through her telepathic bond.

Fire Breath: As simple as it sounds, however, it is not the strongest of all the dragons due to it not being her primary power. It is quite weak, but still impressive to humans.

Strengths & Weaknesses:

-She has longevity and superb healing like all dragons, and is resistant to some human magic, her abilities of speed and strength are also enhanced.

-Double wings, allowing her to become a way stronger fighter

-Agility, and speed. Two of her greatest assets.

-Blindness, Nuria is almost completely blind, though this has heightened her other senses.

-All dragons are weakened and drained by Iron, she cannot fly with injured wings, and she has soft belly scales leaving her underside more vulnerable

-Heat weakens Seer dragons just as it would water dragons, so if not properly hydrated this dragon will go into a state of shock or become really weakened.

-Overuse of particular abilities leads to death or loss of her senses for a period of time

-Bright lights, they stun her as she is not used to such a sight. Going blind has taken its toll and has begun to manipulate her remaining vision.

-Working in a group, she is a more individualized dragon and likes having control of her surroundings. Not holding a position of power she would feel helpless and unsure how to work with a team if she had to.

Likes:

-Night flying, peaceful and serene

-Cool-weather, she can stay better hydrated and therefore keep up her strength

-Time alone, unless it’s with Xev

-Time in forests, offering a place of solitude and not in the open, which is more prone to attacks

-Most humans. She is fine with the rider of her choice, and with riders who have a strong bond with their own dragon, but she just barely tolerates everything else.
