Katya is a beautiful golden brown lioness with stripe markings going down her back. They start at her neck and work their way down to her hindquarters. The stripes are a mix of darker and lighter colorations of her base coat. Katya is a lioness that dosent really have an undercoat. She has a tiny bit of white on her chin, neck, chest, paw tips, some on her belly and finally on the inside of her legs but thats about it. The other unique thing about this female is her tail tip. When most are just plain black, hers fades from grey to black. It is safe to stay that even though Katya isn't a mutation, she is a beautiful gem. Her appearance matches her beautiful personality and name to a tee. Most males that take the time to get to know this gorgeous female will feel the same way. The only other thing that sticks out about this female is the small scar on her nose from her run-in with a porcupine. However you can really only see this scar from up close, and if your really looking.

Physical wise, Katya is on the bigger side. She stands at 3.9 feet tall and weighs about 327 lbs. Katya's coat is a bit longer than most lion's, giving her a soft appearance. The suspicious would be correct though, her fur is quite soft and comforting to touch. Dont be fooled though, she isn't always a cute cuddly kitten, she can be a fierce hunter. Katya has decent muscles under her soft fur. She uses her strong, compact body to aid her in the merciless fight of life. Her powerful forelegs also aid her in her fight for life. Not to mention her strong teeth and jaws she uses to bite into prey and eventually eat her catch. Even though Katya isn't necessarily light, she specializes in jumping onto the prey's back. She then uses her strength to make the prey come crashing to the ground, for all of the other hunters to take it from there. That is if she can keep up. She isn't very fast compared to other lioness's and she definitely dosent have much stamina when it comes to running. Despite this, she trys her best to keep up and prove herself worthy.

Katya is practically the definition of a pure lioness. She cares about those around her, only kills for food, and is honest with how she's feeling. Katya is a good friend, definitely something you cant replace.

You could describe Katya as a daydreamer. When there's nothing exciting going on, or even when there is, she's often in her thoughts. Wether it be thinking about the past, future or things that could have been, shes in her thoughts alot. She enjoys having some free time to herself just so she can think, and escape the merciless reality of life. She also likes to go off on her own when she becomes overwhelmed and stressed. It just helps her cope better. Katya usually is someone who, 'looks rose-colored glasses.' She can be very optimistic, seeing the good in a bad situation. She also often tends to do that with others as well as situations. She believes everyone has good in them, even if its hard to see. She wants to give everyone a second chance. Dont be fooled though, she only gives ONE second chance. She isn't dumb, and wont keep constantly getting herself hurt by the same person. Katya tends to be more lenient on her pridemates, so she often gives them three or four second chances before she finally gives up on them.

While Katya may not be the life of the party, she is a good listener. She's someone you can always be able to talk to. She usually wont judge you, and will keep secrets unless they need to be told. Katya is a very good friend and will try her best not to let you down. She is very loyal. It's garenteede she will stick by your side no matter what, even if she thinks it's wrong. You probably think it's easy to take advantage of her, and while that's slightly true, she still has boundaries and doesn't hang around those who disrespect her....most of the time atleast. Even though Katya is confident in her abilities, she struggles with mean words. Mean words are the one thing she hates most of all. Mean words are the one thing that will make her run and hide. Yes, she can be sensitive, but you got to love her pure heart.

Backstory:
Katya was born into a semi large pride with a complainitive mother and a distant father. Her pride wasn't close at all, they even often fought with eachother, and not just with words. With darkness all around her, she decided to be the light. It worked well for a while, but soon everyone ended up just taking advantage of her. At the age of two she decided to leave, with new boundaries for her new pride intact. She was determined not to be taken advantage of again, but yet she still wanted to be the one everyone could rely on when things weren't going very well. While traveling she was able to make good boundaries, and soon she was ready for her new pride. Not long after that, she joined the Xhumo pride. She's one of the newest members, only being a member for about a month. Despite this, she considers the pride her family. As of recently she's had cubs on her mind. It is cub season after all. Katya is really excited to have her first litter, and to be able to raise them right. The only problem is....which male?

Taranaki - Dominat male
Katya is fascinated with the male's behavior when he actually trys to know everyone on a personal level. It isn't hard to do since it is a smaller pride, but Katya knows how males can be, especially because her mother would complain 24:7 about how male's are selfish and other not so good things. She is also glad he can take her honesty. For some she has to numb it down alot, but for him, he actually wants her honesty. Katya still trys to be nicer with her words but it's still nice to be able to talk freely to the male.
Azfar - Dominat male
Katya dosent really know the male very well. It's not because she doesn't notice him, no, she notices him alright. When she's just resting or enjoying herself, she often just watches the male work, which he seems to always be doing. She doesn't have anything against him, but she also dosent really have anything good to say about him. When she gets into a thinking fit, which she does sometimes, she sometimes wonders what's going on in his head. Katya will most likely never learn that though, because if he dosent talk to her, she most likely wont talk to him.

To be honest, Katya has mixed feelings about this female. She holds her head high, like she's the queen when in reality, she's not. For some reason it just irritates Katya slightly. On the other hand, she likes that she's usually easy to work with and that she's a hard worker. Because of Katya's personality, she just dosent really talk to the female, yet is ready to work with her when needed. She tries her best to not get annoyed by her pridemate, and it works....most of the time.

Like Azfar, she dosent really know this female. Sure she knows she exists, its kinda hard not to with such a small pride, but she doesn't know her on a personal level. The female seems reserved, so most of the time, Katya goes along with that and dosent really talk to her. Of course she has nothing against the lioness, and she is willing to work with her. She is more than willing to hunt with her, and even talk to her given the right circumstances. Either way, Katya dosent have really anything to say about the lioness.
