Rai has an interesting coat. It appears an almost rusty color with prominent red undertones. His chin, chest, belly, and the insides of his legs all gradient to more of a cream color. Some near-white points make themselves known in these areas and just underneath his eyes. His spots are dark and prominent, and he has more russet striping down the outsides of his legs and along his tail.

His big doe eyes are a deep brown, alight with an almost constant, subtle glint that gives off the impression that something has piqued his curiosity. These will eventually lighten to a soft amber. Large eyes, gigantic paws, and ears too big for his head give his the look of a slightly younger cub, though he is of an average size for his age.

Rai has a more average score in body composition. He is not slender, but he is not bulky either. This cub sits about smack dab in the middle and is growing in a way that promises a lion of considerable strength and normal agility. As he grows older, his coat will lighten somewhat but maintain the red earth tint to it. Lighter striping along his back and dorsal line will also begin to appear.

Personality

Rai is the quiet cub. He is certainly not a pushover, but he doesn't put himself out in the fray as much as other cubs might. He is one to stick to the side and watch events transpire. Rai has confidence, composure, and a brilliant mind, though most of his thoughts remain hidden. This little one is more soft-spoken, having learned from his earliest days that silence is the key to survival. He is, however, still a sweetheart.

He is much more subtle in his endeavors, compared to those adults in Titus' pride, and is not one to openly goad or bait others into a fight. He never will be. Rai is empathetic and uses his thoughtfulness for the benefit of others rather than to exploit their weaknesses. Even the smallest details capture Rai's attention, but he is completely capable of zooming out to view the big picture as well. Rai is smart, despite his age, and will continue to grow as such. Witty comments come naturally, though they will rarely leave his mind to exit his mouth. He will not hesitate to let a lion or lioness know he dislikes them.

As far as his own individual traits go, Rai got the inability to refuse a challenge. He is also not the most outgoing of lions, preferring to remain passive aggressive until a newcomer earns his trust. In his later years, he will become a bit more of a flirt as well, and quite a capable fighter.

History

Rai was born in the pride ruled by his father, Titus. He has lived thus far relatively unseen, but the latest snap put his life in extreme peril; he was one of the few lucky enough to be snatched up by the lionesses as they escaped.

Appearance:

Despite Vitani's muscular and sturdy build, she's still a capable hunter; just has greater forte in strength. Her endurance is high and while her speed isn't the best her power legs still allow her to run long distances. Vitani isn't a small lioness nor a large one. Standing at 4 feet at the shoulder and weighting almost 400 lbs. Her base eye color is a soft gold coloring with swirls and speckled of green and sea green dancing in it, Vitani's pelt is short and silky, mixed of creams, whites, soft tans and golden undertones filling it in. Vitani has a gentler more confrontational appearance acting as a shoulder to lean on and mother figure to some of the lioness 's and cubs. She always carries a soft expression and a slight smile but her eyes hold a deep sadness that no one understands.

Personality:

Vitani is a very nurturing lioness. She is always making sure others are doing well before herself. A mature one, she is. Vitani doesn't tolerate immaturity. She will call you out on it. Vitani may not look that intimidating but you will find out real soon. She is kind to everyone when she meets them unless they do something to piss her off. She isn't one to hold grudges against others. Her loyalty lies within the new pride. She respects everyone despite their rank. Vitani puts everyone above herself. She sees them more as a priority to her. She would most likely sacrifice herself for the pride. She doesn't see something like that needing to happen, but it stays in the back of her mind. You would never see her betraying them in any way. That's not who she is. . The female has confidence in herself. She is a very independent female who believes she will get things done faster by herself. However, she doesn't mind group work. She does work very well with others but she prefers to do it alone. Vitani is very determined. When she puts her mind to something, she will make sure to get it done before anything. Going along with her independence, She has a hard time asking for help anyway. She can't seem to bring it to herself to ask. Therefore, she performs alone and if she struggles, she just tries harder until she reaches success.
