📍 anchorage, alaska may 13th, 1983 . it was anchorage's 45th annual sled dog race. three teams from different alaskan territories would gather to race from anchorage to homer, alaska. but, it was evident that one specific team wasn't as excited as the other two teams were. although the mushers were all supposed to be racing against each other, they all still had each other's backs. the dogs were 100% healthy and the three dog drivers worked together for a couple of hours before the race started to make sure that was an official statement. the dogs knew something they didn't -- something rather bad would happen just a couple of hours into the first segment of the race. the dogs that were whining constantly were replaced with other dogs, but happily, that happened to only two. anchorage was known for having lots of bad weather during the wintertime though the kenai sled-dog team had no clue this would be the reason why they'd never see the other mushers, dogs, or their town again. |

denali "we all eat lies when our hearts are hungry." age: 3.9 yrs gender: female breed: siberian husky, malamute mix . role: f. team dog personality: few know the true denali, but two things you'll never forget are that she's quite romantic and outspoken. she could be kind of patient, but when it comes to her job she'd always be very eager to start. . denali is a very clever and discreet girl, but that side of her personality is less prominent and often intertwined with being dominating as well.
her caring and nice nature is amazing. this is what she's often adored for. friends usually count on this and her focus whenever they need cheering up. literally nobody's perfect of course and denali has plenty of lesser desired aspects too. her shallowness and blunt nature tend to get in the way and could ruin plenty of evenings.

Name: Tamaska (means "mighty wolf" in Native American) Age: 2 gender: female Breed: full Alaskan husky Role: team dog female (willing to take up lead dog if something happens to current lead dog) Personality: Tamaska is quiet when there is no point to speak. She tends to be very alert for much of the time being, and is usually very serious. Despite being known for this, she is also very kind. She doesn't wag her tail but instead shows care by being protective to those she knows well. When everyone else walks away, she doesn't hesitate to care for the lonely or sad. When nobody is able to fall asleep, she is great at telling stories, true and false alike. She never really shows her emotions exept in more severe situations; then she is very aware and becomes like a survival guide to the team. Most of her bold attributes come from living with wolves in her past. Appearance: Tamaska is very wolf-like, with a pelt the shade of dirty snow. Her blue eyes tell stories-stories of past and future alike. Her black nose glints like obsidian and has a scar across it. Unlike many of the sled dogs, her tail remains down instead of curved upright. She has large paws for a husky but a slender body and a strong build, with scars littered across it. Likes: the wilderness, running, hunting and foraging Dislikes: starvation, indoors Kin: used to live with wolves but not related to them at all crush: none mate: none offspring: none Other: Tamaska is the hunter and forager of the pack. She USED to live with wolves, and that is where she got her name and love for wilderness and hunting. Appearance - Miska is a beautiful and slim female, though she is short in size she makes up for it in muscle running down her back and legs making her the perfect speed racer. Her eyes are from a fairy tale crystal blue said to glare at the souls of the enemy if you look hard enough, her ears are surrounded by fluff from her upper coat but are rather curved and pointed. . Her coat is beautifully able to shine in the darkest light, consisting of a jet black for her upper coat and a beautiful fluffy white for her undercoat. A small black dot is seen on her chest surrounded by the fluffy white fur, though to the touch is it rather short and smooth always kept clean well almost clean. . Personality - . .
