Something stirred me awake in the night but I dismissed it without a thought and went back to sleep. When I finally woke up in the morning I felt something next to me. I looked over and noticed Jesper wasn't where I last saw him and my head shot up. Only then did I realize he was next to me, I hugged my tail close to my body. I was extremely comfortable and didn't want to move, but I didn't want to cross any boundaries either.

With a huff I lay back down, only cuddling closer to Jesper. I wasn't about to let this opportunity slip, but I was still being cautious about the smell. I hummed, similar to a purr, before I fell back asleep.

I stirred to the feeling of something moving against me and a second later, the sound of a hum. Drowsy, i slowly opened my eyes and blinked to clear away the sleepiness in them. When my vision became clear, i realized i was now cuddled up to Uri. Normally i was pretty confinestt, but i couldn't help but blush this time. The smell was so much stronger up close... but i was so comfortable and she was still sleeping. I gently layed my wing ontop of her like a blanket, faced my head away from her and waited for her to wake up. She would probably get upset at me for this, but i just couldn't get myself to move. As i layed there, i felt desires that i knew i shouldn't think about, but i couldn't help it when she was so close.

I started to stir awake, and I realized a wing was covering me. I shifted and turned to look at who it was and realized it was Jesper. I gave him a warm but tired smile after he looked at me.

"Sȳz ñāqes," I said as I curled into him more. "iksā comfortable," I mumbled out, not knowing if he could hear me. I wasn't going to complain, it had been forever since I had been able to cuddle. I was comfortable and I didn't want to move either. I needed to get up and stretch, but I was too comfortable.

When i felt a slight movement next to me, i looked over to see if Uri had woken up. Sure enough she had, so i returned her smile. I still wasn't a 100% sure i wasn't going to get my wing ripped off but so far it looked like i was safe. "Sȳz ñāqes, sweetheart." I replied quietly, adding just a bit of flirting to my words and tone. I was surprised when she cuddled even more into me. I was good with words, but i still got a bit flustered when it came to real actions. I could barely hear her next words, but that's what made me loose it. I blushed as my heart started to bstuff cheeks fast. I quickly looked away, but i couldn't get myself to pull away when she was clearly happy. "iksā...comfortable, tolī." I replied, trying to calm myself. Jeez, this smell was really getting to my head. "Ao gīmigon, nyke could dohaeragon ao isse getting rid hen bona scent hen aōhon." I mumbled a moment later, dealing with the situation the only way i knew how, by flirting. Though i was pretty sure she could tell i was slightly out of it.

Each time he responded my face only got more red. The pet names were not helping, nor was the teasing. when he offered to help my eyes shot open, and I was no longer half asleep. When I slowly raised my head I gave him a look of uncertainty.

"gaomagon ao seriously jaelagon ta dohaeragon?" I asked slightly confused and investigating. "ao realize till sagon iā bōsa commitment lo gaomā dohaeragon nyke," I added. I was surely flustered and it could probably even be seen on my scales. My main issue was that I couldn't tell if he was joking or being serious. My scent was getting to him but I don't know if he was thinking straight or if it was mixing his thoughts.

"lo ao daor decide, maybe henujagon ēva thy yknagon daor affecting thou dombo. pār kesā sagon able ta consider clearly tolī." I said finally before moving away a bit unsure. if he was thinking straight and wanted the role, then I wouldn't hesitate to agree. I just didn't want him to back out when it was too late because he realized he wasn't thinking.

I managed to pull my lips into a smirk as i looked at Uri but it was strained. "Hen rhinka. Aōha iā gevie female." What am I doing? I had to pause when she added onto her sentence. She was right, and i didn't know how to reply. I just stared at her, lips pursed, trying to get ahold of myself. I could tell she was flustered though, and that made me feel a bit better since i wasn't the only one. I sighed and looked down when Uri moved away and spoke. I was a bit sad that she moved away, but more than anything, i knew she was right. "Aōha paktot, Uri. Nyke vaoreznuni. Yn everything ive vestās gō iksis drēje, aōha iā amazing zaldrīzes. Nyke sepār daor sure kostan sagon iā sȳz mate iā kepa..." I said, revealing one of my insecurities. I pulled myself up and guiltily headed towards the entrance. "Ill sagon arlī aderī, dont worry. Se umm, nyke vaoreznuni, nūmāzma everything." I said, turning to look at her with pain in my eyes. I didn't want to mess up again and i didn't want to hurt Uri, but i also wanted to be by her side.

I didn't want him to go and the look on my face softened when he revealed his insecurity. I quickly walked up beside him.

"Ao daor worry nūmāzma bona, mirre nyke request iksis protection hen la dangers. Nyke daor emagon ao worrying nūmāzma raising zirȳ hae tis sagon ñuha gaomilaksir iksis raising hatchlings. Nyke sepār daor mīsagon nykēla se zirȳ att la hēnka moment lo iksan pōja care taker." I said, making sure he saw my face "Iksan daor turning ao ilagon, nyke sepār jaelagon ao ta pendagon tis toliot kesrio syt ao would sagon required ta henujagon aōha lenton," I said keeping a sympathetic look before backing off.

I knew that Uri was trying to make me feel better with her words, but it wasn't working. Especially since i had failed to protect one of my mates before all because i get restless when i stay in one place for too long. I had left on a five day trip with my friends and when i came back she was dead. I shook my head to clear the memory before focusing on Uri's sympathetic look. That made me feel a bit better, knowing she actually cared about me. "Nyke shifang." I said shortly before running off. I ran down the tunnel and eventually took off into the sky. Flying always helped me clear my head and think, so that's what i intended to do. The fresh air also helped alot in this situation.

I watched Jesper go off and I let out a sigh. I made my way deeper into my father's area and curled up there, my appetite was non-existent despite my current issue. Naturally, a female would be stuff cheeksing more than normal, trying to get more fat in her body. Not me for some reason, I don't know what was wrong with me.

I was disturbed out of my thoughts when my father came in carrying a fish. He dropped it in front of me before speaking

"iksā required ta ipradagon, lodaor kesā ropagon ta la egros morgho sepār kesrio syt ao didn't ipradagon enough trying ta manaeragon ābrītsos," He said with a look of mixed expressions. I hesitantly started to stuff cheeks. This meant he knew I was probably going to be having hatchlings of my own in the upcoming season. "Nyke gīmigon iksā starting ta locate iā mate wit mor urgency. Nyke sepār jaelagon ta reassure nykēla bona iksā taking care iā aōla isse la process," He said before putting his muzzle to my forehead and walking off.

Sorry I took so long to respond, I couldn't think of a response for a bit.

After about an hour, Jesper started to head back. The flight trip definitely helped him and now he was ready to face Uri. He scanned the waters below him as he flew back to the colony, looking for a fish he could catch. Luck on his side, the male actually saw a fish he could get without much effort. Jesper tucked in his wings and dove into the cold water, mouth open to catch the fish. Right on spot, he quickly grabbed the fish before flying out of the ocean water. He shook the water off of his head as much as he could before continuing on. The fish he had caught wasn't the biggest but it was a decent size.

Jesper landed back in the colony before walking back to the place where he had left Uri. Much to his surprise, she wasn't there anymore. A worried growl came from his mouth as he searched for the missing female. Hopefully no male had made a move on her while he was gone. Speaking of which, the male had made up his mind. He would take Uri as his mate and never leave her side, even if it meant him going crazy. A couple minutes later, thanks to her growing smell, Jesper found Uri. He cleared his throat to announce he was back before putting his fish infront of her. "Rytsas, dārilaros." He said with a flirty smile as soon as the fish was free of his mouth.
