Imani tried not to duck her head as everyone looked towards her. She wasn't embarrassed, just...overwhelmed. She didn't know what to do, so she just walk up to Zeus's side, forcing herself to meet the former Queen's stare.

Zeus smiled as she joined this side, then one of the lions from the patrol yelled. "All hail King Zeus and Queen Imani!" Then all of the lions, but Ares and the former Queen began to roar. Zeus looked to Imani and winked, and then roared with his Pride, awaiting his anf Imani's roars as new King and Queen, to stretch acorss the Savannah.

Imani looked around the circle of lions as they all started to roar, a feeling she couldn't describe flowing over her.

What if they didn't like the way she ruled? Or if someone challenged Zeus's rule and they had to leave too? She didn't let herself thing about those things as she opened her jaws and roared with her pride.

As the Pride's roar ended, Zeus leaped down from the rock. He walked up to Ares and the former Queen, his head held high. "It is time for you to go, we have respected your rule, and wish you luck somewhere else." He said, his gaze turning from both Ares and thr former Queen. Ares eyes were calm, while the Queen's eyes were livid, but they didnt say a word as the walked away from the Pride. And Zeus coyldnt help but smile.

Imani watched as the former king and queen walked away without so much as a glance backwards. The pride disbanded shortly after that, going about their daily duties.

Imani waited until everyone left before she smiled at Zeus as rubbed her head underneath his chin.

"Everything is going to be okay now, we shouldn't have anymore problems." He said, but when he thought about it, he realized his mistake. Now that the Queen was gone, he wouldnt be abke to keep an eye in her, and she migjt go to the rogurs again. He didnt know for sure she was tied up with them, but if she was, thats the first place she'd go. He wouldnt tell Imani, but he kept a smile, as he lept off the rock. "So," he asked Imani, "What should the new King and Queen do first?"

"I know." Imani said as she took a few deep breaths to steady herself.

Imani thought for a minute, "We should probably go check to make sure the former King and Queen have left the territory, make sure they aren't causing any problems."

"Yeah we should." He said, listening to Imani, and going off towards the direction they former royalty had gone. His mane flowed slightly in the breeze, wafting their smell towards him. His head held high, and his Queen at his side, the two staued close behind, and just as they thought, they'd crossed the Pride's borders, but to his disbelief they were heading towards the rogues den. Ignoring this he turned towards Imani. "We should head back now." He said, his brown eyes flickerimg for her face to the camp a ways off behind them.

Imani tracked the former rulers trail next to Zeus, watching closely as they finally came into view. Relief washed over her when they both stepped out of the territory, not even looking back.

"Yeah." She said as she turned around. "I'm glad that's finally done. Now I need to figure out this whole ruling over an entire pride deal."

"Hey its new to me too." He said with a smile, nudging her shoulder playfully. He remembered how his dad had been, always kind, his intelligent eyes always finding something to do. He knew he'd made his dad proud, and it was time for him to take on the responsibility of being King. "First I'll organize patrols, send a hunting party." He added, thinking of other things he could do. He was the King now, technically he could do what he wanted. "But first, we'll need our first meal as King and Queen." He said, adding a second playful nudge.
