Chinook || Beta || M: Luna
He stopped beside the white female and released a short, quiet sigh. With a quick ear twitch, he glanced around and then began, "I re-marked the border this morning. Perhaps it will deter loners and rogues long enough to allow us time to deal with the humans alone instead of facing two threats at once. That howl sounded too blatant to be someone trespassing; perhaps there is a small group of loners. Would you like me to send someone to check?"
His gold eyes shifted from Luna's face to the area surrounding them once again. Subconsciously, Chinook took a deep breath and tested the wind. Faint prey trails moved over his senses, along with what was possibly a badger, but, from the way the wind was blowing, there were neither humans nor stranger wolves. Still, one could never be too careful.
Sasha || Hunter || M: Storm
A familiar scent caught the female's attention and a hint of a smile graced her muzzle. Ah. There he is. She turned to greet the dark gray wolf beside her with a nuzzle and allowed her eyelids to drop in thought at his inquiry.
"Well," she finally replied. "It took me a while to fall asleep, but I am rested. What about you, sleepyhead?"
Sasha shouldered him playfully, her tail thumping lightly against the dirt. "Seems you have barely gotten up yourself, hmm?"
Natan || Fighter || M: Open
Natan moved languidly along the edge of the camp, creating a sort of half arc as he walked back and forth. Some would call it pacing, but he deemed it too slow to be such. Besides, he was not frustrated or anything of that nature; he just needed to move a little. That was all.
There were no wolves in his vicinity, really; everyone else was gathered towards the opposite end of camp, probably waiting on the daily assignments- oh. That was a thing. Natan shook out his pelt and deviated from his course halfway through another arc, instead moving towards the others to listen for his own charges for the day.
Ragnar || Fighter || M: Open
His night had been confusing. The blue eyed wolf sat away from the others, gaze fixed intently on nothing in particular. Ragnar's mind was full of clips and blurred scenes from various dreams, none of which made any sense. He could tell Chinook would hurt his paw, and Kirik and Tulip would face death, but how or when or where were so uncertain.
Frustration radiated off the dark male, and he shook himself out to focus on the present. Who needed the future?
Kirik || Scout|| M: Sliver
Kirik stretched out and moved over towards the elders' residences; she figured that, with everyone else preparing for the day as far as hunts and patrols were concerned, she would greet the older wolves before joining them. She quickly spotted Sliver and walked up to her, yipping a quick greeting and asking, "How are you today?"
